Mechanical work to be carried out at various lift irrigation schemes of MISD Baramulla.

Amount

a) Detaching of 05 cusec Hz split casing pump of lift irrigation scheme Darpora from motor and retrieving of rotating parts from its casing unit no. 02 by using skilled labours, loading of same in private load carrier and shifting to the workshop for necessary repairs(01 job) b) Providing, fitting of ball bearing no 6308 of reputed make. The job shall also include adequate greasing to the bearings.(02 job) c) Manufacturing, providing and fitting of SS sleeves collar type of size ID= 45mm, 0D= 68mm & length = 155mm (02 job). d) .Providing and fitting of palmative packing (half kg) e) Providing and fitting of gas kit as per required at site(01 job) f) Providing and fitting of TC-16 coupling set complete along with flexible rubber tyre. The job includes taking of dimension at site & then boring of holes at workshop to the coupling halves which small match with the size of shaft of pump and motor. g) Loading/Shifting of the pumping equipment in private load carrier after taking necessary repairs at workshop. Then fitting of the same at the site and testing on full load.

Repairs to major leakage at 03 spots along 400mm dia. M.S rising main of lift irrigation scheme Ijara by way of cutting appropriate size of windows to the rising main by using oxyacetylene gas plant at site for cutting of window to M.S pipe in order to carry out welding works inside the pipe. After making window in the pipe the same shall be dewatered along with dug out trench using dewatering pump till the pipe becomes dry so that the welding works can be carried inside pipe. The job then involves cleaning of rust around pipe by chipping off rusted layers inside the pipe. The cracked portion of the pipe shall be plugged by using M.S flat plat of 3mm thick, 75mm width of suitable length to cover circumferential & longitudinal crack inside/outside the pipe.. The job includes the hire charges on a/c of using D.G set, welding set, Gas cutter, load carrier, manual earth exavation, dewatering pump, manual labours, superior quality electrodes and skilled welder for completing the repair work. After successful completion of repair work, the rising main shall be tested on full load

Dismantling of 05 cusec V.T pumping unitno.01& 03of lift irrigation Scheme Zandfarn Zogiyar by way of extraction of motor, discharge head, bearing housing, column pipes, bowl assembly & allied fittings, with the help of skilled labours & other tools & tackles. The job then involves the charge for dismantling of entire bowl assembly to remove the debris from impeller, strainer for its smooth functioning with the help of skilled labours, and other tools & tackles. The job also includes the charge for replacing the rusted bolts & nuts of bowl assembly wherever necessary with new one for completion of job, then fitting of column pipes and discharge bend to the delivery line and assembly of the whole pumping unit at site & testing on full load.

Loading/Shifting of the pumping equipment in private load carrier after taking necessary repairs at workshop. Then fitting of the same at the site and testing on full load.

Repairs to 200 mm dia M.S Suction pipe of lift irrigation scheme Kanispora at various leaked spots by way of dismantling suction pipe from flanges by opening nuts & bolts, lifting pipes from suction side with the help of skilled labour, chain pulley blocks , then welded leaked spots with good quality electrodes. The job also includes the charge for replacement of damaged flanges with new one for the completion of work. The job includes the hire charges on a/c of using D.G set, welding set, Gas cutter, load carrier, , manual labours, superior quality electrodes and skilled welder, new flanges two no, New nuts & bolts etc for completing the repair work. After successful completion of repair work, suction pipe should be tested on full load.

Repairs to 8” inch dia foot valve unit no.02 of lift irrigation scheme Uranbow by way of dismantling it from suction side pipe with the help of manual labour and other tools & tackles, loading in private load carrier to private workshop for repairs, then replacement of weight plate, hinges, & washers as per sample .The job also include the charges for p/f of new strainer, nuts & bolts as per requirement. Then shifting back to site in private load carrier fitted repaired foot valve with suction side pipe carefully and tested on full load.
