SPL REPAIR TO BOREWELL AT PUMP HOUSE-I AND PUMP HOUSE -VI AND REPAIR TO FILTER MEDIA AND PUMP HOUSE NO 3 AT AFS TEZPUR

Drilling trial bore for 250mm inner dia x 350mm outer dia tube well by reverse rotary circulation method, machine 250mm bore size top or bottom by different cutters inducing all arrangement with appliances and excavation of pit for clay for circulation of water using bentonite or to satisfy clay as per site or soil condition for settlement of bore hole for the depth from ground level to 150 metre depth, complete all as specified and directed. (FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL) NOTE:- (i) The identification of exact aquifer for availability of water with the help of CENTRAL/ STATE ground water board shall be done by the contractor at his own cost before drilling and the cost for the same shall deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (ii) Any liaisoning regarding any test to be conducted on site for locating the aquifer will be the responsibility of the contractor only. NOTE: Applicable for1 to 3: The quoted unit rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of the cost of drilling, pumps and fittings etc which shall be provided by the contractor under his own arrangement for execution of the work. (ii) Quoted unit rate of these items also include the cost of fuel required for machine during the complete process.

Development of trial bore by reaming in steps viz from 250 mm to 350 mm ; From 350 mm to 450 mm ; From 450 mm to 525 mm; From 525 mm to 675 mm, up to 75 RM from ground level for insertion of casing pipe 250 mm bore, complete all as specified and directed.

Development of trial bore by reaming in steps viz From 250 mm to 350 mm ; From 350 mm to 450 mm ; From 450 mm to 525 mm, exceeding 60 RM but not exceeding 150 RM from ground level for insertion of casing pipe/strainer, 250 mm bore, complete all as specified and directed.(FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL) NOTES: - (a) Depending upon the availability of water bearing strata, if drilling beyond 150.00 Metre is required, the same shall be carried out only after obtaining written approval from GE. (b) The rate for reaming beyond 150.00 Metre depth will be considered as per quoted rate at Serial item No. 3 here in before.

Supply, lowering and fixing in position 250 mm nominal bore ERW heavy duty MS casing pipe of 7.10 mm wall thickness and welding joints with MS coupler ring around the pipes with MS flat iron 50 mm X 6 mm complete all as specified and directed.(FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL)

Supply lowering and fixing in position 200 mm bore, 8.00 mm wall thickness, low carbon galvanized steel (LCG) strainer, 'V' wired type (inwardly widening to give no clogging property and shall have minimum geometrical resistance to water flow to reduce frictional head losses) , with 1 mm continuous slot to offer not less than 25 % open area, and with bevelled end, conforming to IS 8110:2000 (Reaffirmed 2006), butt jointed by welding in suitable length with MS flat iron 50 X 6 mm coupler ring all around the pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix, Bail Plug having 3.00 Metre length, fabricated out of ERW heavy duty MS casing pipe of 7.10 mm wall thickness and suitable for 250 mm bore, including welding joints with MS coupler ring around the pipes with MS flat iron 50 mm X 6 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply lowering and fixing in position MS reducing socket 250 mm X 200 mm nominal bore, 8 mm thick and duly welded to pipe with MS flat iron 50 mm X 6 mm coupler ring complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix,100 mm bore galvanized steel tubing, medium grade, 3.00 Metre long, in twin arrangements, as in gravel filling arrangement to bore well, fixed 2.00 Metre below ground level and 1.00 metre above ground level, inclined at an angle of 40 Degree form horizontal plane of ground, complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Earthwork and PCC Foundation Block for the pipes will measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply and filling pea gravel of size 3 to 8 mm for paking around the housing /assembly,slotted pipe of the bore well complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Pea gravel shall be paid as per stack measurment carried out on site . (ii) Contractor shall also produced the original purchase voucher for gravel. (ii) Contractor shall provide the proper hard standing for stacking of the gravel and unit rate of this item also includes the cost of this factor and nothing extra shall be admissible . (iv) After filling the gravel around the pipe, remaining gravells shall be removed by the contractor at his own cost and balance material / gravel will be deducted from the gross qty for measurement purpose.(FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL)

Development of tubewell with air compressor of capacity 250 psi /1000cum till sand/mud free water of potable quality is obtained and to acheave minimum discharging capacity of 25000 GPH complete all as specified and as directed . Note:- (i) Compressor with accessories and fuel shall be arranged by the contractor and same is included in the unit quoted rate. (ii) In case, due to any reason, T&P including manpower found sitting ideal, nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (iii) Cost of transportation of compressor including entire T&P upto site of work shall be born by the contractor and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (iv) The actual hour for payment purpose shall be notified as per actual compressor including T&P run at site not for ideal situation, Tenderer are her-by-advise to keep this aspect while quoting their rates and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.(FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL)
