SPL REPAIR TO BOREWELL AT PUMP HOUSE-I AND PUMP HOUSE -VI AND REPAIR TO FILTER MEDIA AND PUMP HOUSE NO 3 AT AFS TEZPUR

Development of trial bore by reaming in steps viz from 250 mm to 350 mm ; From 350 mm to 450 mm ; From 450 mm to 525 mm; From 525 mm to 675 mm, up to 75 RM from ground level for insertion of casing pipe 250 mm bore, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lowering and fixing in position 250 mm nominal bore ERW heavy duty MS casing pipe of 7.10 mm wall thickness and welding joints with MS coupler ring around the pipes with MS flat iron 50 mm X 6 mm complete all as specified and directed.(FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL)

Supply lowering and fixing in position 200 mm bore, 8.00 mm wall thickness, low carbon galvanized steel (LCG) strainer, 'V' wired type (inwardly widening to give no clogging property and shall have minimum geometrical resistance to water flow to reduce frictional head losses) , with 1 mm continuous slot to offer not less than 25 % open area, and with bevelled end, conforming to IS 8110:2000 (Reaffirmed 2006), butt jointed by welding in suitable length with MS flat iron 50 X 6 mm coupler ring all around the pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix, Bail Plug having 3.00 Metre length, fabricated out of ERW heavy duty MS casing pipe of 7.10 mm wall thickness and suitable for 250 mm bore, including welding joints with MS coupler ring around the pipes with MS flat iron 50 mm X 6 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply lowering and fixing in position MS reducing socket 250 mm X 200 mm nominal bore, 8 mm thick and duly welded to pipe with MS flat iron 50 mm X 6 mm coupler ring complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix,100 mm bore galvanized steel tubing, medium grade, 3.00 Metre long, in twin arrangements, as in gravel filling arrangement to bore well, fixed 2.00 Metre below ground level and 1.00 metre above ground level, inclined at an angle of 40 Degree form horizontal plane of ground, complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Earthwork and PCC Foundation Block for the pipes will measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply and filling pea gravel of size 3 to 8 mm for paking around the housing /assembly,slotted pipe of the bore well complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Pea gravel shall be paid as per stack measurment carried out on site . (ii) Contractor shall also produced the original purchase voucher for gravel. (ii) Contractor shall provide the proper hard standing for stacking of the gravel and unit rate of this item also includes the cost of this factor and nothing extra shall be admissible . (iv) After filling the gravel around the pipe, remaining gravells shall be removed by the contractor at his own cost and balance material / gravel will be deducted from the gross qty for measurement purpose.(FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL)

Yield testing of the bore well by suitable pump and motor for minimum discharge capacity of 25000 GPH for at least continuous 8 hour uniterrupted of run per day for three continuous days complete all as specified and directed.(FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL) Note : `V' notch and other equipment including pump set shall be arranged by the contractor and cost of same is included in the unit rate quoted).

Providing water logging test with electro logging equipment and required machinery for ascertaining/ logging aquifers encountered in trial bore and arranging and defining the water availability test giving test report of Geo-Hydrologist from Govt. approved laboratory recommending water bearing zones, TDS of water etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Testing of raw water and treated water for all parameters covering chemical and bacteriological aspect from RRL Jorhat/DRL Tezpur of any Govt approved/reconized Lab as approved by the GE complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Unit rate of this item is deemed to be included the cost of Transportation charges for collection of water sample from site and to Lab and including collection of test report from Lab to Office of AGE E/M. (ii) Container required for collection of sample shall also be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Supply, fixing and lowering 100 mm bore MS, column pipe, both end flanged, 3.00 Metre long, fitted with flanges at both ends made out of heavy grade pipes of 5.4 mm wall thickness, ISI Marked (IS: 1239-Part-I), complete with bolts, nuts, gaskets etc. as required complete all as specified and directed.(FOR TWO NOS BOREWELL)

Supply and fixing well cap made out of 8 mm thick MS plate with provision of suitable holes for passing through two runs of flat three core, PVC insulated industrial cable for submersible motor, 10.00 Sq. mm and suitable for fixing to 250 mm nominal bore ERW heavy duty MS casing pipe of 7.10 mm wall thickness complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for, mild steel iron clamp (two parts) made out of flat iron 150mm width x 12mm thick of approx 450mm length and required size of nuts, bolts and washers suitable for holding 100mm bore column pipe including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lowering, fixing, commissioning and testing submersible pumping set i.e pump & motor in borewell, electrically driven 415 volts three phase AC, 15 HP, 12 KW having discharge capacity of 740 LPM at a head of 1-447metres, 10 stage , delivery 100mm dia (internal) complete all as specified and directed. (Make - KSB/KIRLOSKAR/CROMPTONGREAVES or equivalent). Note :- T&P and manpower required in lowering of pump set shall be arranged by the contractor and unit rate of this item is included in the unit rate of this item.

Supply and fix fully automatic star delta submersible pump starter of 15 HP capacity with auto unit 3 phase 415 volts relay range ground mounted on 50 x 6 mm flat iron clamp duly grouted in wall minimum clearance 2" from wall including connections with lugs testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix cast iron sluice valve class PN 1.6 long body type, with brass spindle both ends flanged with holes, ISI marked IS 14866.20(0) including carbon steel nuts bolts & washers, rubber gaskets etc with CI wheel fixed to water mains of size 150mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix CI Non return valve flanged ends of class 1.6 PN with CI wheel, of size 100mm bore, including all fittings, i.e nuts & bolts washer and gasket, GI reducer 6"x4" all complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing pressure gauge in pipe line 100 mm dia 0 to 14 Kg / Cm2 including all necessary fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply , laying and testing PVC insulated and sheathed flat submersible cable with stranded copper conductor cable of size 3 core 10 Sqmm 1100 volts grade including lugs and fixed in submersible pump set complete all as specified. Note - Submersible cable shallbe lowered alongwith pumping set & discharge pipe.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate (for poles/stay assembly foundation) including necessary form work.

Material and labour plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded aggregate at as in coping, benching and similar items including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F galvanised tubes, 'medium grade', 150mm bore with all fitting laid in trenches/walls complete all as specified.

Cutting existing steel tubing 150mm bore for alterations or additions, screwing for alterations or additions ( or lengthening screw on pipe to form connector) and inserting tee, including all accessories and jointing materials complete all as specified.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of monoblock pump set suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz, having capacity 15 HP, suction and delivery outlet 4"x4", discharge capacity maximum 39 LPS, 50 metres head including connection with all fittings and angle iron base and PCC foundation as per manufacturer's instruction, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix fully automatic star delta submersible pomp starter of 15 HP capacity with auto unit 3 phase 415 volts relay range ground mounted on 50 x 6 mm flat iron clamp duly grouted in wall minimum clearance 2" from wall including connections with lugs testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting the DI/CI pipes and reducing the required length in positing for insertion of new DI specials such as Tees/Reducers/Tail pieces/collers/sluice valve/Air release valve etc complete for the following:-

(a) 80 mm bore

(b) 100 mm bore

(c) 150 mm bore

M&L for cutting the road / hard standing and making good disturbed surface by using 150mm thick PCC type C2 (1:3:6) by using 20 graded stone aggregate for the fixing the pipe complete all as specified.

Boring mechanicall or manually in any type of soil of bore size 25mm to 150mm complete all as specified.

Material and labour for special fitting such as bends, tapers, tee pieces (single and double branch) any type and size and angle / radius and straight connecting pieces but all end flanged complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 80mm bore cast iron sluice valve with flanged ends heavy duty class PN-1.6, ISI marked, drilled holes for bolt, comprising of SS spindle and cast iron operated handle including necessary rubber gasket joint with nut and bolts complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for, 100 mm bore, centrifugally cast (spun) ductile iron pressure pipes for water mains, with spigot and socketed ends, class K9, ISI Marked [IS 8329:2000 (Reaffirmed 2005)], in any length, jointed by push-on flexible joints with rubber gaskets conforming to IS 5382, laid in trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for, 150 mm bore, centrifugally cast (spun) ductile iron pressure pipes for water mains, with spigot and socketed ends, class K9, ISI Marked [IS 8329:2000 (Reaffirmed 2005)], in any length, jointed by push-on flexible joints with rubber gaskets conforming to IS 5382, laid in trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix for 80 mm bore galvanised steel tubing 'medium grade' (IS-1239), with all fittings laid in trenches including taking up or old GI steel tubing and connections complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for 50 mm bore galvanised steel tubing 'medium grade' (IS-1239), with all fittings laid in trenches including taking up or old GI steel tubing and connections complete all as specified and as directed. Note for Srl item No 34.00 to 37:- Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Excavating in trenches not exc. 1.50M wide and not exc. 1.50M in depth for foundation etc and getting out in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soft/loose soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 Cms complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as directed.

Supply and laying ductile iron fittings for spigot and socketed pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle), Tapers any type, (Straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs suitable for bore of pipe up to 150mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cast iron sluice valve class PN 1.6 long body type, with brass spindle both ends flanged with holes, ISI marked IS 14866.20(0) including carbon steel nuts bolts & washers, rubber gaskets etc with CI wheel fixed to water mains of size 100mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for reconstruction of brick masonry valve pit of size 120cm x 120cm x 120cm (internal dimension) with one brick thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 20mm graded crashed stone aggregate ) as in foundation concrete incl PCC (1:3:6) type Cl (using 20mm graded crashed stone aggregate) as in bedding and coping 10mm thick cement plaster in Cement mortar (1:4) internally & externally upto 15cm below ground level providing valve pit 50x50x6mm angle iron frame all round the fixed point by means of 4 Nos hold fast 150mm long made out of flat iron 40 x 6 mm embedded in PCC block (1:2:4) type B-I (using 20mm graded crashed stone aggregate) of size 230 x 200 x 100mm incl provn of hing welded with angle iron frame and Mild Steel cover 3mm thick, Mild steel handle of suitable and size welded with Mild steel cover & suitable locking arrangement & applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red-oxide primer incl necessary excavation work in soft/loss soil complete all as specified and directed.

Supply fix install test Iron Removal unit/Water softening plant 10000 gallan /hour capacity with MS fabricated factory made and making necessary connection/fitting also suitable size of platform complete all as specified and including the followings :- (a) Pre filter- Vertical, Single Deck and Multigrade . (b) Shell IS:2062 MS fabricated factory made - 2300 mm dia x 1500 mm SOH. (c)Thickness of Body, Dish end & bed plate - 10 mm x 12 mm x 12 mm. (d) Frontal (face) pipe line - will be fabricate from 100 mm ERW pipe (Medium). (d) Valves in frontal pipe line -Butter fly valves flange less finish-100mm (05 Nos) (e) Under bed plate system with strainer - Double nut type PVC strainer - 400 Nos. (f) Pressure gauge - 02 Nos for raw water and filter water (g) Filter media (Sand & Gravels) -156 Cft. (h) MNO2 compound (catalytic media)-Generally not required for pre-filter.
