Description of work to be executed

Clearing of vegetation including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Careful removal / taking out the old broken / damaged iron gates and placing at proper place to dispose-off the same including all labors, tools etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Removal of old damaged / broken barbed wire fence from the compound wall, making rolls and placing at proper place within premises.

Providing and fixing of new barbed wire 2 to 2.5mm thick (12 SWG) in 5 rows including all materials, labors, transportation etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Dismantling / removal of damaged / broken kota stone flooring including throwing away the dismantled materials within premises (50mtr lead) etc. all complete as per directions of engineer in charge.

Dismantling / removal of damaged / broken / weathered cement concrete floor including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 mtr lead including all labors, and necessary materials etc. all complete as per directions of engineer in charge.

Careful taking out / dismantling of old decayed / deteriorated / cracked plaster from the walls (wherever required / as directed) and disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 mtr lead including all labors, and necessary materials for the work etc. all complete as per directions of engineer in charge.

Taking out / removal of old, decayed wooden doors, windows, sun shades with frames and shutters and staking away for disposal within 50 mtr lead including all labors, and necessary materials etc. all complete as per directions of engineer in charge.

Carefully removal of old decayed / damaged mangalore tiles from the roof, taking below at ground level and staking at proper place for dispose off the same outside the building premises etc. all complete as per directions of engineer in charge.

Carefully removal of existing old rusted GI tin shed from the roof including ridges, hips, valleys, gutters etc. and taking below at ground level and staking at proper place within 50mtr lead of building premises etc. all complete as per directions of engineer in charge.

Careful taking out old decayed / damaged rafters, planks, battens, wooden rail, vertical support/strips in between wooden rail and staking at proper place for dispose-off the same outside the building premises etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Careful breaking of old damaged / deteriorated masonry structures like toilets, madhyahan bhojan kaksh, water tank and platforms in rooms etc. and throwing away the debris within 50mtr lead etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Earthwork in excavation by manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 meter in width) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 5 meter including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50 m.

Providing and laying in position 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 coarse sand, 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) plain cement concrete - for foundation including cost of all materials and labour charges etc as directed by site incharge

Providing and laying in position 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 coarse sand, 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level

Steel cost and supply for reinforcement (Thermo - Mechanically Treated Bars of Grade Fe - 500) for R.C.C. Work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete

Towards Hiring charges for centering and shuttering for concrete work including strutting, propping etc. and removal of formwork after completion of work including all labors, transportation up to work site etc. all complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Construction of Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including leveling up with cement mortar 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size), curing, all materials, labors, transportation etc. all complete. (In Cement Mortar 1:6)

Construction of Brick work with common burnt clay non modular bricks of class designation 7.5 in Cement mortar 1:4 including curing, all materials, labors, transportation etc. all complete.

Applying 20mm thick cement plaster of mix 1:4 (1 part cement : 4 part fine sand) over masonry compound wall including curing, all materials, labors, transportation, etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Applying of 20mm thick fresh lime plaster over walls in two coats using mortar L.S.S. (1:2:1) (1 part lime, 2 part sand, 1 part surkhi) mortar properly mixed with additives like jaggery, methi, gugal etc. including mixing of mortar, tamping, beating in proper alignment and level with all materials, labors, necessary materials etc. all complete as directed.

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, sunsheds and fixed in position using good quality teak wood with hold fast lugs or dash fastener etc. all complete.

Providing and fixing panelled or panelled and glazed shutters for doors and windows fixing with butt hinges of required size, aldrops, latches, stoppers etc. (stainless steel / brass) with necessary screws, aldrops, stoppers, latches etc. (Stainless steel / Brass) of recommended size and brand as recommended by engineer in charge. all complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing M.S. Grills of required pattern in frames of window etc. with MS flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing good quality teak wood planks (tongue and grooved), rafters, battens, baluster for hand rails, vertical supports in hand rails etc. including hoisting, fixing in position and applying wood preservative etc. all complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Labor charges for fixing of old available / usable teak wood planks (tongue and grooved), rafters, battens, baluster for hand rails, vertical supports in hand rails etc. including hoisting, fixing in position and applying wood preservative etc. all complete as per direction of engineer in charge. (Only fixing by using available wood materials)

Providing & laying of kota stone flooring 20mm (average) thickness laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of stones including rubbing and polishing complete with base of cement mortar 1:4 including all materials, labors etc. all complete as per directions of engineer in charge.

Provision for making, supplying and fixing of Iron gates as per approved drawing and design etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Providing corrugated G.I. Sheet roofing - 1mm thick with zinc coating, including vertical / curved surface fixed with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers or with G.I. Limpet washers filled with white lead, including a coat of approved steel primer and two coats of approved paint on overlapping of sheets complete (up to any pitch in horizontal / vertical or curved surfaces), excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Providing ridges or hips of width 60cm overall width plain G.S. Sheet 0.80mm thick with zinc coating and fixed with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. limpet and bitumen washers etc. complete.

Providing valleys of 90cm wide overall in plain G.S. Sheet fixed with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8mm dia G.I. Limpet and bitumen washers etc. complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Providing flat iron brackets 50 x 3mm size with necessary bolts, nuts and washers etc. for fixing of G.S. Sheets gutters with purlins.

Providing and fixing on roof (above G.S. Sheet) pressed clay tile (Mangalore tile) of 20mm nominal thickness and of approved size and as per approved pattern on steel frame work etc. complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing on wall face 110mm diameter - uPVC single socketed rain water pipes , coupler, shoe bend etc. confirming to IS Standards, jointing with seal ring, leaving 10mm gap for thermal expansion etc fixing Coupler, shoe bend and other fixtures. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Finishing walls with acrylic smooth multi surface paint (for exterior and interior walls) of approved shade in two or more coat applied @ 1.67 liter/10 sq.m over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sq.m

Applying two or more coat of painting including a coat of approved steel primer on G.S. Sheet and iron gates (on both sides), etc. with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required color to give an even shade etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Scrapping of old paint from the wooden members by applying paint remover and applying melamine polishing on wood work in two or more coats including a coat of wood filler etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Towards supply of Fixing of double scaffolding system cup lock type on the exterior side, up to three story height made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. Clamps and providing working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable conditions for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter including labour charges for erection.

Constructing brick masonry manhole inside size 90x80cm and 45cm deep in cement mortar 1:4, foundation concrete 1:4:8 mix, inside plastering 12mm thick with cement mortar 1:3 finished with floating coat of neat cement including C.I. Cover with frame (light duty) for collecting of rain water and taking away from the building and storing the water in a tank for reuse etc. all complete as directed by site incharge

Drilling of bore well of required diameter for casing / strainer pipe, by suitable method prescribed in IS: 2800, including collecting samples from different strata, preparing and submitting strata chart / bore log, including hire & running charges of all equipments, tools, plants & machineries required for the job, all complete as per directions of engineer in charge. Up to 90m depth below G.L. - 300 mm Dia.

Supplying, assembling, lowering and fixing in vertical position in bore well unplasticized PVC medium well screen pipes with ribs, confirming to IS: 12818, Gravel packing inside the bore well including hire & labor charges, fittings & accessories etc. all complete as per direction of engineer in charge.

Supplying and fixing of submersible pump of 5HP Capacity of approved ISI brand, cabling all fittings and fixtures and installation of the same etc. all complete as directed by site incharge.

Providing and placing on iron framed structure of size 2m x 2m x 5m high, 1000 liter capacity polyethylene water storage tank of IS Specifications with cover and suitable locking arrangements and making necessary holes for plumbing connections inlet, outlet and overflow pipes with all plumbing fittings as directed by site incharge.
