CERTAIN REPAIR TO HARD STANDING AND OTHER ASSOCIATED WORK AND PAINTING TO RUNWAY, TAXI TRACKS, LOOPS TO BPs, DISPERSAL ETC IN AIR FILED IN TECHNICAL AREA AT AF STN HALWARA

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, & removal of rubbish out side MoD Land, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 125mm thick type B-2, 1:2:4 (Using 40 mm gradeded stone aggregate) as in hardstanding, including making impression of expanded metal whilst the concrete is green, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Construction joints, dummy joints (contraction Joint) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

M&L for forming 25mm thick expansion joints in concrete slab for full depth of concrete slab, joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vaccume cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre-molded 25mm thick compressible polythylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant, placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod 30mm dia over filler board and top 20mm filed with polyurethane based sealant as per method specified by the manufacturer, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 10mm wide construction joints by cutting upto 2/3 depth of total thickness filled with polyurethane joint sealant compounds using mechanical means including 2 coats of primer and fixing approved quality of backup rod 12mm dia polyethylene rod in position as required complete as per manufacturers instructions using marking taps to avoid slippage on sides, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old treated horizontal concrete or bituminous surfaces exceeding 10cm width or girth with wire brushes etc and painting lines, dashes, strips, circles and other marking with one coat of water thinnable/matt finished road marking paint white/orange/yellow/black or any other colour using mechanical pavement marking machine as approved by GE, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old treated horizontal concrete or bituminous surfaces not exceeding 10cm width or girth with wire brushes etc and painting lines, dashes, strips, circles and other marking with one coat of water thinnable/matt finished road marking paint white/orange/yellow/black or any other colour using mechanical pavement marking machine as approved by GE, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat of white wash on old rigid / flexible surfaces including preparation of surfaces, complete alll as specified and directed.
