Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils & rocks with E&B and BLB as met at site , true to lines as per plan, L section , camber, super elevation as required , also including uprooting & cutting of bushes ,dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes, with all lead, lift and safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places by mechanical means/ manual means indicated in the drawing with out damaging forest , forest land , utility and private properties ,including slip clearance during hill side cutting as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per MORD specifications , Clause 1600,1603.1,1603.2 (For Improvement).

Preparation and surface treatment of formation by removing mud and slurry, watering to the extent needed to maintain the desired moisture content, trimming to the required line, grade, profile and rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller, complete

Excavation in cutting in all type of soil and rock by manual means with lead upto 50m for carrying of cut earth to embankment (Half cut and Half fill) as directed by Engineer-in-charge MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.For making damaged superelevation.

Excavation in foundation for structures in all types of soils and rocks including all lead, lift and disposal of surplus material as directed by Engineer-in-charge and MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014.(B/W,R/W, parapet,Scupper, etc)

Providing and laying Mechanically Woven Double Woven Doubleshaped Gabions (Zinc plus PVC coated),of size 3mX1mX1m with two diaphragms at 1m interval, having mesh opening 100mmx120 mm, mesh wire diameter 2.7mm/3.7mm edge/selvedge wire diameter 3.4/4.4 mm and lacing wire diameter 2.2/3.2 mm.(The work includes filling boulders in the gabions).

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces trated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 of MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014

20 mm thick Open Graded Premix Carpet using Bitumen Emulsion by using manual means as per Technical Specification Clause 508.2

Providing and laying seal coat by Bitumen as binder for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type-B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 of MORD Specification for Rural Roads 2014 (Bitumen VG-10)

Performance Based Maintenance (PBMC)
