Scaffolding: Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Chipping : 25mm average thickness: Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material upto 25mm thickness from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts, all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge.

Filling/Sealing of cracks: Filling /Sealing of cracks/cavities/honeycombed patches (i.e. 2-3mm) with epoxy based sealing compound or with silicon sealant including making groove by chipping for penetration of sealing compound, cleaning the exposed concrete surface with wire brushes, applying bond coat etc. all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge. The rate is inclusive of epoxy based sealing compound. Special Product: Sikadur 31 IN of Sika or equivalent

Nozzle Fixing: Providing and inserting 12mm dia galvanised steel injection nipple in honeycomb area and along crack line including drilling of holes of required diameter (upto 25 mm) up to a depth of 80mm at required spacing and making the hole & crack dust free by blowing compressed air, sealing the distance between injection nipple with adhesive chemical of approved make and allow it to cure complete all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge. Special Product: Sikagard 694 F(I) of Sika or equivalent

Injecting Low viscosity Epoxy Grout: Providing and injecting approved Low viscosity Epoxy grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/ pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge.(The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved epoxy grout injected) Special Product: Sikadur 52 LP IN of Sika or equivalent

P/I Acrylic Polymer modified Cement Slur: Providing and injecting Acrylic Polymer modified Cement slurry made with non shrink grout admixture of approved make in proportion as per the manufacturer's specification/datasheet into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/ masonry by suitable pressure grouting gun/pump at required pressure including curing, all complete as per specification and directions of Manager-in- Charge. Note: Cement shall be issued from Nalco store as a Free Issue material. Special Product: Sika Intraplast EP or equivalent

Providing & Grouting of Shear key: Providing & Grouting of Shear key of MS Bar of 12mm dia. and 125 mm embedding length by drilling holes in concrete by suitable means. The anchoring of shear keys shall be done by injecting with suitable epoxy resin hardening system in to the existing concrete all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge. a) The rate shall be inclusive of epoxy resin grout to be injected in to the concrete of approved brand & manufacture) b) The Steel for Shear keys(MS Bar) will be issued by NALCO at free of cost. Special Product: Sika Anchorfix 3030 or equivalent

RCC Jacketing with Micro-concrete: Providing and casting free flow high strength Micro-concrete. The Micro-concrete of approved brand for Jacketing work shall be prepared as per manufacturer’s specification, complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge. Special Product: Sika Rep Microcrete-4 or equivalent

P/F centering and shuttering: Providing and fixing centering, shuttering, strutting, propping etc. for all types of works with good quality shuttering ply of any shape and size including firmly fixing in position with screws, bolts, separators, tension devices, true to line and level, stripping off the same after specified period etc. for all heights complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge.

Rebaring of reinforcement: Rebaring of reinforcement of upto 20mm dia with existing beam, column etc. by drilling and anchoring by injecting chemical (HIT- RE- 500 of Hilti make)or equivalent including necessary tools and tackles, testing etc complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge.

Reinforcement in RCC works: Steel reinforcement for RCC work including transportation from Nalco store, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding at all height, complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge. Reinforcement steel shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores.

Disposal of debri: Disposal of dismantling materials, debris etc. generated during execution of work, including loading, unloading, transportation by mechanical means from site of work to designated areas on NALCO land lead upto 3 kms, spreading, compacting, dressing all complete as per specifications and direction of MIC.

P/F of Wire mesh: Providing and fixing hard drawn steel wire fabric of size 75x25mm mesh or other approved size wire mesh to be fixed & firmly anchored to the concrete surface by means of "L" shaped mild steel shear key welded with existing reinforcement including the cost of materials, labour, tool & plants all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge.

Epoxy Bond Coat: Providing, mixing and applying epoxy bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-charge. Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage as per manufacture specifications. Special Product: Sikadur 32 of Sika or equivalent

Shotcrete – 25mm thick: Providing and casting ready to use cement based spray applied repair mortar using shotcrete machine at a pressure of 3 Kg/cm2 of approved brand and manufacturer. The shotcrete application procedure shall be as specified by the manufacturer specifications. The quantity of Steel fibre that shall be added at the rate of 250gms per 25 Kg of material etc. complete as per the specification and direction of Manager-in-charge. Special Product: Sika Monotop 122 F or equivalent.

Cementitious Bonding Coat: Providing and applying SBR Polymer modified cementitious bonding coat of approved make on chipped portion of RCC before the application of special repair mortar, all complete as per the manufacturer's specifications and direction of Manager-In-charge. Note: 1. Cement shall be mixed with specified proportion of the polymer as per the manufacturer's specification/ datasheet. 2. Cement shall be issued from Nalco store as a Free Issue material. Special Product: Sika Latex or equivalent.

Chemically modified Polymer Plaster 12mm: Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar of 12 mm average thickness in proportion as per manufacture specifications and directions of Manager-in-charge. Cement will be issued by NALCO at free of cost at Nalco Store. Special Product: Sika Latex or equivalent.

Chemically modified Polymer Plaster 25mm: Same as Item no-17 but for 25 mm average thickness, applied in 2 layers

Crack Bridging waterproof Coating: Providing and applying Crack bridging water proof flexible coating as per manufacturer’s specification of approved brand, manually using brushes on the wet hardened concrete surfaces after cleaning the surface and removing all loose particles/deposits etc. complete as per specification and direction of Manager-in-charge. Special Product: Sikagard 67 of Sika or equivalent.

Anti-carbonation Coating: Providing and Finishing with Anti-carbonation Epoxy paint (two or more coats) on concrete work at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, complete as per specification and direction of Manager-in-charge. Special Product: Sikagard 551 S Elastic Primer & Sikagard 550 W of Sika or equivalent.

Chemical Anchor Bolts of 12 mm: Chemical Anchoring of M12X150 mm long S.S. type anchor bolt complete with 1 nut & 1 washer and total length is 150mm with required Epoxy based chemical by normal hammer drilling up to depth 110mm.complete as per specification and direction of Manager-in-charge. Special Products:-Hilti Anchor Bolts SS Type & Hilti Chemical.

Chemical Anchor Bolts Size 16 to 20 mm: Making upto 25mm diameter drilling of holes in concrete Structures upto a depth of minimum 200mm, supplying & fixing of full threaded HILTI make Anchor bolts with nuts and washers of size 16mm to 20mm dia and 260mm long, filling/grouting with chemical HIT HY 200R. Drilled holes shall be cleaned properly for grouting of chemical compounds for better strengthening of bolts. Work is to be completed in all respect supplying all required consumables, tools and tackles etc as directed by MIC. Special Products:-Hilti Anchor Bolts SS Type & Hilti Chemical.

Cleaning of rust: Cleaning of rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per the manufacturer's specifications/ material datasheet and direction of Manager-In-Charge. Special Product:Sika Rust Off 100 or equivalent.

Anti Corrosive Treatment: Providing and applying two coats of anti corrosive treatment of approved make to the exposed reinforcement steel bars after cleaning the corroded steel bars (manually/ with rust remover) and drying , all complete as per the manufacturer's specifications and direction of Manager-In-charge. Special Products:Friazinc R of Sika or equivalent.

Providing and laying APP: Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated of 4 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of solvent based bitumen primer for bitumen membrane as per manufacture specification by the same membrane manufacture. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch / LPG torch and applying uniform pressure with roller to ensure the removal of entrapped air, sealing all joints, complete finishing at openings / rain water down comer pipes, etc, and preparing the surface complete in all respect. The vital minimum physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 500N/5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 350/300N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -5°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147 and other parameters as per specifications. (Note: The overlapping width shall be minimum 75 mm at the sides and 100 mm at the end. Payment shall be made for actual coverage area only.) Special Products:- Sikabit T-140 PG or equivalent.

Synthtic Rubberised waterproof Coating: Cleaning of roof slab, chajja including picking, sweeping, cleaning and washing with water to remove dust,debris etc. from existing roof and providing waterproof treatment as under- (A)-Apply one coat of primer of STARPROOF MB 602 : water (1:2) with help of brushes on the cleaned RCC slab/chajja. (B) Allow the primer to dry for 4-5 hrs then apply one coat of STARPROOF MB-602. (C) After drying of surface finally apply 2 coat of STARPROOF approved all SP-600 of any approved colour. All Complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge.

Surface patching of expansion joints: Surface patching of expansion joints, walls etc using cement admixed with quick setting admixture of approved manufacturer before pressure grouting, including proper cleaning with all labour, materials, (Excluding cost of cement) T &P etc . All complete as per manufacturer specifications and directions of MIC (NB: Payment shall be made for KG of admixture used)

Providing & Grouting with polygrout: Providing & Grouting with polygrout ( expansive aqua-reactive water based chemicals) manufactured by fosroc chemicals or equivalent of approved manufacturer with pressure grouting machine through already fixed nozzles and sealing the nozzles after completion of injection process including all labour , materials , T & P as per manufacturer specifications and directions of MIC (NB: Payments shall be released per litre of polygrout consumed)

Providing and applying sealant in joints: Providing and applying a layer of "Polyurethane Polysulphide" sealant for expansion joints,construction joints including cutting of 'V' shaped groove for width of joint , cleaning properly and applying over one coat of "LISCO WONDER POXY" coating or equivalent products of sika/BASF/FOSROC/STAR etc. Including labour , materials, T & P as per manufacturer specifications and directions of MIC.
