Taking out/pumping out silt, brick bats debris liquid waste sludge in solid/semi solid state from Manholes including pumping out sludge wherever necessary by plugging /diverting the flow in the sewage line if necessary and staking the removed silt/sludge and deposit away from the edge of manholes at the place marked by the authority controlling the area and including use of safety belt dry cells torch for lighning in side the manholes as directed and cleaning the manholes with clean water etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge of the following:-

(a) Manholes not exc depth of 1.0m

(b) Manholes depth exc 1.0m but not exc 2.0m

Opening and Cleaning of obstruction/blockage in water closet, including trap, soil waste pipe, upto Ist manhole in case of ground floor or uptoTee junction for other floors complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - charge.

Opening and Cleaning of obstruction/blockage in floor trap for urinal or wash hand basin or sink incl waste pipe and gully trap in case of of ground floor and Tee cross junction for other floors complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - charge.

Desiliting of the existing drain/sewage line of any size such as removal of clay/ mud, junk material , plastic or biological waste , vegitation & soil etc & removal of the same from the site to a distance n.exc 500m & depositing where directed the material colleted from the drains incl muck has to be dumped in near by excavated pits & covered with soil & made good, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of water tank of capacity exc 250 ltrs & n exc 500 ltrs removing all scale and dirt etc. by brushing with iron brushes, removing green algae etc. by using bleaching powder, all from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipe etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note : The Contractor will write date of cleaning on tank as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.)

M&L Cleaning of underground sump of 1.00 Lakh ltr capacity by bailing out the water in the sump below foot valve level, removing the sludge and scale out the floors, walls etc. removing green algae, with wire brush by applying bleaching powder, washing the surfaces with fresh potable water including removal of sludge and other materials to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Note: The period of contract is for 09 months. The scope of work included in the tender is for attending day to day repairs as per the complaints received from the occupents of various bldgs. The Engineer -in-charge/JE conerned will intimate the list of day to day repairs to be carried out on every working day before 0900 hrs. The contractor is required to complete the repairs on the same day as far as possible or the time given for attending individual complaint by the Engineer -in-charge and is required to submit complaints slip duly signed by the occupent of the bldg. The contractor is required to keep ready stock of various materials for attending the repairs and to complete the repairs within the time schedule fixed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
