Grass cutting and chemical weed control treatment for removal of wild vegetation at WRPL Viramgam pump station

SERVICE ITEMS

Surface dressing, clearing grass, removal and clearing bushes, unwanted trees, wild grass, vegetation including uprooting by making use of tractor/JCB, tractor plough, leveller as per requirement etc. Including inequalities not excedding 15 cm deep from all parts inside pump station area including cost of all labour, material tools, tackles, machines etc all manpower and machines such as tractor trolleys etc. Transportation and shifting of all rubbish, cut bushes, wild grass and cut trees outside the plant within a distance of 3 KM with contrcator's own transport with tools, tackles manpower equipments as per advise of EIC/ site engineer complete in all respect. the area should be free from any vegetation and levelled. the rates are inclusive of arrangement/platforms required entering machine and vehicles and restoring to its original condition including dismantling and refitting works of underlying cables and pipes required for movement of tractor. Note : Grass cutting is to be completed within 2 months in the specified area of pump station and the same cleared area has to be maintained for next 6 months. 70% of item rate will be released upon completing grass cutting activity and 30% of item rate will be released subject to maintaining the cleared area for next 06 months.

Manual Clearing of grass/weeds/vegetation and removal of the rubbish from all parts inside pump station area including cost of all labour, material tools, tackles, and disposal outside the IOCL premises at no extra cost by transporting and shifting of all rubbish, cut bushes, wild grass and cut trees outside the plant within a distance of 3 KM with contrcator's own transport with tools, tackles manpower equipments as per advise of EIC/ site engineer complete in all respect. the area should be free from any vegetation. Disposal of various materials by tractor trailor (capacity 2-3 cum) upto following lead of 3.0 Km or part thereof including loading, unloading such as cement, sand, debris, earth, furniture, plants etc all such materials from one place to another including pump station area and outside pump station area upto a lead all complete as per the directions by EIC. (EA unit is per trip)

COMPOSITE ITEMS

Application of Chemical weeding with the help of manual spray, chemicals and man power supplied by the contractor as per direction ofthe Site Engineer/ Engineer-In -Charge. The job has to be done using GLYPHOSATE base weed control chemical having dosing rate/concentration 1.3ml per sqm area for one time / as per manufacturer specifications and minimum two times within the contract period to maintain area free of grass/weeds/vegetation. Note : 50% of item rate will be released upon initial application of chemical weeding and 50% of item rate will be released at the end of the contract period subject to maintaining the cleared area.
