Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m,as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineer in-charge.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Making and supplying at site anchor bolts for fixing base of tower manufactured from 32 mm dia mild steel bar of 1600 mm length conforming to IS: 2062, threaded at top upto 150 mm length and galvanised upto 200mm at threaded end, including fixing of suitable hexagonal nuts 2 Nos. (Nuts & Checknuts) and MS spring washer etc all complete as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Nuts and check nuts shall be of specified brand as approved by Engineer-in-charge.

Labour for Fixing anchor bolts 32 mm dia @ 8 Nos. in each of column pedestal of tower along with template totalling 32 numbers anchor bolts and 04 nos. termplates for each tower all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Sorting of the erection materials of the 40 metre high GBT at the Telecom Store, Shyam Lok, Haridwar and stacking all the members size and design wise all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Loading, transportation, unloading and stacking of tower materials from BSNL Telcom Store, Shyam Lok, Haridwar to BSNL Tower site , Durgapuri , Kotdwar all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge .Weight of Tower material approximately 10 tonne and the material shall be transported carefully without causing any damage and losses. ( Note :- The contractor shall be solely responsible for safety of tower material after receiving from store, during transportation, during storage at site and during erection . )

Loading, transportation, unloading and stacking of tower materials from old BSNL Tower site , Durgapuri , Kotdwar to BSNL Telecom Store, Shyam Lok, Haridwar all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge .Weight of Tower material is approximately 10 tonne and the material shall be transported carefully without causing any damage and losses. ( Note :- The contractor shall be solely responsible for safety of tower material after receiving from site , during transportation and should be handed over at store under receipt from store incharge . )

Supplying deficient tower materials (due to Shortage of material supplied at Store) at site. The material required for tower, ladder, wave guide rack, antenna fixtures, pipe stand for lightening arrester, nuts, bolts, templates, base plates etc. as required shall be provided as per drawings in required lengths including necessary cutting, welding, drilling holes for bolts etc. in exact conformity with the approved drawings and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The member shall be fabricated from pure virgin structural steel from approved companies like TISCO, RINL,SAIL etc. NOTES: 1. All tower materials shall be hot dipped galvanized. The tower materials, fabrication and galvanizing shall be as per relevant BIS and SERC specifications. 2. This item is exclusive of erection and painting charges. 3. Measurements:Weight of individual member shall be worked out on the basis of linear measurements and standard coefficients. Nuts, bolts and washers shall be measured for payment. 4. The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, carriage, octroi, labour,T&P necessary for straightening, cutting, filing, drilling, welding etc. Nuts and check nuts shall be of specified brand as approved by Engineer-in-charge.

Erection of ground based self supporting tower of any height using new/old /recovered serviceable dismantelled materials. The work shall include following operations: (a) Erection of tower inlcluding sorting, assembling, lifting, fitting and fixing in position of all tower materials, ladders, platforms, wave guide rack, lightning arrester pipe stand etc. as per drawings and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The rate includes straightning of bent tower materials, matching holes of members/ gusset plates etc. and all related works for completion of this item. All materials shall be supplied departmentally. Only labour charges are covered in this item)

Painting two or more coats with Luxol Hi-Gloss or equivalent approved brand & manufacture synthetic enamel paints to members of 40M (4 legged) light weight cellular tower, every alternate leg with international orange and white shade respectively as per norms of Civil Aviation signal including a priming coat of zinc chromate primer over a base coat of ETCH primer & necessary scaffolding etc., taking all precautions to protect human lives, insurance coverage to labour etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing marker plate of size 900x750 mm, minimum thickness 0.5mm on the tower, indicating its height, weight, date of erection, type of antenna along with BSNL logo name of station and Unit etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of old 40 m high ground based self supporting Tower material and stacking properly at Durgapuri, Kotdwar consisting of Steel angles, Flats, Plates etc. including platforms, Ladder & Wave Guides etc including sorting of material at site, oiling of nuts & bolts all complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.
