Demolition of plain cement concrete over roofs, slab, roof kerb etc all as directed by Engineer In Charge. NOTES FOR ITEM NO 1 TO 40:- (i) The roof Work is to be carried out nearly 15 Metres of Height from ground level . Contractor shall consider these aspects while quoting the tender and no extra cost is allowed at later stage. (ii) Contractors should arrange necessary scaffolding/ Boom lift/Crane and takes all safety precautions for workers at the time of carrying out works as described in BOQ (iii) Contractor should visit the site before quoting the tender to assess the resources required to execute the work at the site. (iv) Cost of above factors are deemed to be included in the rate quoted in BOQ. No Extra Claim will be entertained.

Taking down existing water proofing treatment of any description and removal of rubbish to a distance as directed by Engineer in cahrge.

Material & Labour for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerb, rounded or chamfered on edges, complete all as specified.

Material and Labour preparation of roof surface by thoroughly wire brushed ,washed ,dried up, cleaned of all the foreign matters and dust ,and applying bituminous primer @250gms/sqm ,and then laying 4mm thick APP modified bituminous membrane with non woven polyester matt as reinforced weighting not less than 4.00 Kg per Sqm ,laid on primed surface with torch application method by providing overlap minimum 100mm longitudinal and 150mm on transverse direction. All angles and similar projections should be sealed well with extra care to ensure full bondage, all joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar 1:3 mixed with SBR Latex @ 200ml/bag of cement complete all as directed.

Material and Labour for water proofing treatment to roof as specified below: - RCC surface shall be made dry, clean, even and checked for soundness. Removal of oil, dirt, laitance and other contaminants by manually and surface shall be fairly smooth finish. Chamfering the floor wall junctions with cement mortal 1:4 admixed with Nitobond SBR or equivalent @ 1 litre per 50 kg bag of cement. Down take rain water pipe Annular space packing using Conbextra GP2 or equivalent mixed water and filing as per manufacturer’s specification. Water ponding for minimum, for 48 hours and injection grouting of construction joints, leaking spot and honey combs with cementations pressure grouting with 40 psi pump using Cebex 100 or equivalent @ 225 Gms mixed to 50 kg bag of cement including joints packing using polymer modified mortar. Providing and applying water proof coating using Fosroc Nitoproof 600 or equivalent, over dry surfaces and 1.5 mm thick with 2 coats with interval period of 6hrs over substrate at a coverage rate of 2 Kg/Sqm using spray/squeegee/roller/brush. Water proofing coating shall have the elongation of 500-700% (ASTM D412-90) tear resistance of 21KN/m (ASTM D 624-00) and tensile strength of > 1.9N/mm2(ASTM D412-90). Termination to be done on wall extending the coating to min 300mm height above the finalized floor level as per vendor recommendation. Laying 200gsm non-woven geo textile membrane over Nitoproof 600 coating with overlap sealed before providing screed concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for PCC screed to slope including providing batching mixing transporting and laying controlled screed concrete of M20 grade of average 75mm thickness with a minimum thickness of 50mm at drain points and slope of 1:150 or required as per the site condition at all levels by admixing necessary admixtures CONPLAST WL or equivalent @150ml per bag or cement and mixing graded fibrillated 100% virgin poly propylene fibres in concrete at the rate of 0.9Kg/cum as per manufactures specification.

Material & Labour for water proofing treatment by applying water proofing slurry adding DITACHMENT (Polymer modified mineral based powder) into water diluted NAFUFILL BBR(acrylic based polymer binding agent) diluted with 4 part of water and apply this slurry@ 2Kg/Sqm in two coat complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for 25mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in floor finished even and fair complete all as directed.

Material & Labour for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of concrete surfaces in Cement Mortar in 1:3 finished even and smooth without using extra cement with using WPC complete all as directed. Note: WPC will be measured and paid separately.

Brushing neat cement slurry with 3.00 Kg of cement per Sqm with WPC complete all as directed. Note: - WPC will be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound.

Material & Labour for Roof tiles, Mangalore pattern, interlocking at side joints, laid dry complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Ditto All as per Item No 12 but except tiles.

Material & Labour for ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern of roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Dismantling of floor hearth and wall tilling including mortar bedding removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster or brick or stone wall including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for ceramic coloured tiles 9 to 10 mm thick (Square/ rectangular) matt finished area of each tile exceeding 0.18 Sqm but not exceeding 0.38Sqm in floor including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 set and jointed and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the tile complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles in vertical surface 350x250x7mm/ 450x350x7mm thick over 10mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thicknesses, including Nainital or similar pattern roof covering nails etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling Single layer Mangalore pattern or similar tiles in roofing including tiles fixed in cement mortar and removal of vegetation nails etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Dismantling batten for tiles, shingles etc of any size including fillets spaced exceeding 15cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling timber scantling 40 Sqcm and over in section, in any position unframed work complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling boarding, any description, fixed in any position with nails complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling framed work timber in fillets, rails, posts, rafters, purlins, etc. under 40 sqcm in section complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fix Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified complete all as specified.

Supply & Fix Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm of an colour having tensile strength of 550Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for two coats oil bound distemper with one coat of primer on ceiling including preparation of new surface complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work/aluminium work in roof of any description complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix structural steel work in tubular trusses and as in purlin, rafter etc on roof including special shaped washer etc or including butt welded tubes conforming to IS:1161-1979 grade St-240 complete all as specified and as directed.

Erection and fixing only steel work in tubular trusses (tubular, angle, square and rectangular etc) including shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1998 grade St-240 for round tubes complete all as specified.

Material & Labour for preparation of old painted surfaces exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel/iron surfaces complete all as specified

Material & Labour for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

Material & Labour for preparation of new MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning the tiles and applying two coats of antifungal paint using UNIGLOSS deluxe multi surface paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

AVM CONSTRUCTION
