REPAIRS MAINTENANCE OF 11 KV HT CABLE AND MISC. WORKS AT MARINE AREA AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE (I) (DM) VISAKHAPATNAM

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5M wide and not exc 1.5M in depth and getting out in soft loose soil for cable work or from above cable duct complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material not exc 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5M above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dry sand cushioning for under ground cable provided with layer and sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15cm after laying the cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing of areas of above cable duct by Clearing away all grass, wild vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30cm girth and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 meters outside the periphery of the area under clearance complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of cable duct of size 1.2 x 1.0 by removing out all mud, soil, waste materials and disposal of waste materials to nearest gurbage bin and soil mud to low laying area of Dockyard complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable HT UG cable of any size and any description including GI pipe of any dia and bricks for cable protection where ever appeared and all as directed . Note:-(i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Serviceable cable obtained shall be stacked properly for re use.

M&L for XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded,galvanised steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cables (heavyduty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts Earthed, grade cross sectional area 240 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 9.00 above, but cable size 300 Sqmm 3 core.

All as per item No. 9.00 above, but cable size 400 Sqmm 3 core.

supply only Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size upto 185 sqmm incl dismentling / taking down unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 12 above, but for cable of size 240sqmm to 300 sqmm.

All as per item No. 12 above, but for cable of size 400 sqmm to 500 sqmm incl dismentling / taking down unserviceable one.

Supply only Cable joining kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with joining material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size upto 185 sqmm incl dismentling / taking down unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 15.00 above, but for cable of size 240sqmm to 400 sqmm

M&L for boring/drilling by machines/manual horizontally under the road in any type of soil without cutting/disturbing the existing road and inserting GI pipe of any size for drawing the cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in -Charge Noe :- GI pipe shall be measured and paid seperatally

M & L for 100 mm bore GI pipe tubes light grade for cable protection supporting with all fixing accessories (clamp, nuts, bolt and washer etc ) complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling taking out HT Cable from cable rack/floor at gallery of marine jetty for repair/replacement of wornout steel cable rack or for realingnment of cable and refixing the cables with proper staking with proper alignment of cable on repaired/existing rack and making feeder wise bundle of cable using PVC cable tie for sizes of cable 3 core, 185 to 240 sqmm, 11000 volts grade all as specified and directed. Note: Each cable shall be measured separately. Steel cable rack shall be measured separately as supply and fix.

All as per item No. 19.00 above, but for cable sizes 300 to 500 Sqmm, 3 core.

M&L for finding of cable fault of UG 11000 volts grade cable inside trench (under soil / drain/PCC/road/trench/gallery ) by disconnecting both cable ends, using insulation tester, cable path/fault finder and rectification complete by necessary excuvation, cutting at fault position, fixing of straight through heat shrink joint, for cable sizes 185 sqmm to 500 sqmm, 3 core, 11000 volts grade or replacement of heat shrink indoor cable joint kit of size 185 sqmm to 500 sqmm, 3 core and reconnection of both cable end to original position after complete satisfactory insulation test, fixing with old or required new nuts-bolts-washers complete with testing all as specified and directed . Note: (a) Items required for rectification such as heat shrink indoor cable joint kit / heat shrink straight through joints / heat shrink sleeves and earth work shall be measured separately . (b) required aluminium cable lugs and nuts-bolts-washers shall be inclusive of quoted rate. (c) Contractor shall bring necessary testing equipment and rate shall be inclusive of quoted rate.
