Waterprrofing Work

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials (existing damaged tarfelt portion) by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involve.

Providing and laying four courses water proofing treatment with bitumen felt over roofs consisting of first and third courses of blown bitumen 85/25 or 90/15 conforming to IS : 702 applied hot @ 1.45 Kg per square metre of area for each course, second course of roofing felt type 3 grade-I (hessian based self finished bitumen felt) and fourth and final course of stone grit 6 mm and down size or pea sized gravel spread at 6 cubic decimeter per square metre, including preparation of surface but excluding grading complete with Bitumen felt (hessian base) type 3 grade I conforming to IS : 1322.

Supplying and applying bituminous solution primer on roof and / or wall surface at 0.24 litre per sqm.

Grading roof for water proofing treatment with Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Providing PCC of grade 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts etc.

Fencing With G.I. barbed wire with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately). Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used.

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron 'Y' shaped placed 2.4m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)

Plastering in cement mortar, 20mm thick in two coats consisting of 12mm thick base coat in CM 1:4 and 8mm thick finishing coat in CM 1:3 adding water proofing compound @ 2 % of weight of cement in both coats and matching with the adjacent plastered area in lines and levels) on the external surfaces of the brick walls and concrete members at all locations, floors, levels, heights (up to 3 meter height) including raking out joints, cleaning the surface curing, disposal of the debris within a lead of 150 meters complete with cost of materials, labour, tools and plants etc. all as per specifications and direction of Engineer in charge.

Raised and cut pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) etc.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint (Two or more coats on new work) on existing door on approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade etc.

General Note: 1. Contractor shall inspect the site to acquaint with the site conditions as well as security conditions at work site. 2. All the dismantled/ demolished materials shall be dumped at one place as decided by the department within the lead of 350mtr. 3. All the samples of materials which are to incorporated in the work shall be got approved by the Engineer -In- charge well in advance. 4.The contractor is required to pay his employees / labour as per the prevailing minimum wages approved by State/ Central Govt. The contractor shall maintain 1. Register of Workmen employed 2. Muster roll 3. Register of wages etc. 5. Contractor shall quote rates for all items after considering cost of materials and labour components and all such conditions leads, lifts, safety precautions, security restrictions that are necessary for satisfactory completion of work as per instructions and site conditions. Security regulations shall be followed. 6. The rates quoted shall include cost of all tools and tackles, manpower including wages, liveries, all wastages and GST,water charges,Labour cess seignorage charges etc. as applicable but exclusive of EPF and ESI. EPF and ESI are reimbursable as per relevant clause on production of proof of payment as per CPWD norms 7.The contractor has to follow all safety rules of the department and all safety equipments, PPE shall be provided to all workers engaged by him
