Disconnecting the electric connections of submersible pump set motor of capacity 12.5 HP from auto transformer, starter, removing the delivery pipes, transportation of pumpset to workshop from Sunderbani to Jammu and back & re-fitting/re-connecting the same at site after carrying out necessary repairs/maint of submersible pump-motor as under :- (i) Disconnecting the MS flanged, bends by opening of nuts, bolts of the flanges and clamps from the column pipes and taking out the column pipes from Dugwell. (ii) Lifting out submersible pump set 12.5 HP from dug well after taking out column pipes. (iii) De-coupling the submersible pump & the motor from each other. (iv) Dismantling the pump & motor, carrying out necessary repairs and re-assembling the submersible pump set again after carrying out necessary repairs. (v) Lowering the submersible pump set into dugwell. (vi) Lowering the column pipes by tightning the nuts bolts of the flanges of pipes and connecting the bends complete. (vi) Testing & comissioning complete of submersible pump set after installation at Dugwell. Note :- The items required for repair will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Repair to submersible motor of capacity 12.5 HP by removal of complete stator winding coils, cleaning and making surface for rewinding, rewinding the stator winding of submersible motor of capacity 12.5 HP with PVC insulated copper wire of appropriate guage with adequate insulating sleeves, grinding and polishing of rotor assembly and replacement of gun metal bushes -02 Nos, replacement of thurst plate bearings set complete and replacement of lower bush housing including grinding of motor casing slots etc making electric connections testing & commissioning complete all as specified & directed.

Note : The rate for cutting of road, path, culvert, floor etc for laying of pipeline and making good the damaged surface shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(Earth work, brick protection and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately)

XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 50 Sqmm 3.5 core connected with suitable cable gland and aluminium lugs, laid in trenches or passing through pipes including testing, complete all as specified and directed. (Earth work, brick protection and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately)

Sand cushioning to under ground cable, laid in trenches 8cm thick below the cable and 15cm thick above the cable after laying and stretching the cable complete punned to 18cm, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness of sand will be measured and paid.

Brick well burnt locally available sub class 'B' laid over sand cushioning for mechanical cable protection in trenches with width of brick perpendicular to the length of cable, complete all as specified & directed.

Cleaning of UG sump/ OH reservior having approximately dia 6 Mtrs and depth upto 4 Mtrs by pumping out or draining out water/ muddy water, cleaning the inner walls by using wire brush, removing chlorine scales from internal walls, waste materials/ mud/ sand and depositing the same 50 Mtrs distance away from the UG sump/OH reservior, complete all as specified & directed. Note : Rates quoted by contractor shall be deemed to be included the dewatering of dugwell, arrangement of pumps and other T&P required for the same.

REPAIR TO VOLTAGE STABLIZERS Disconnecting all electric connections of servo voltage stabilizer of capacity 20 KVA to 150 KVA, 3 phase, 415 Volts from LT panels and transporting it to approved workshop for repairs and back to station, re-install in its original position after making necessary repair including loading and unloading the voltage stabilizer , complete all as specified & directed. Note : The quoted rates shall be deemed to be included of loading-unloading, transportation of stablizer to approved workshop from Sunderbani to Jammu & back.
