Repairing and modification of 08 nos inclined plate settler thoroughly including replacing of 1280nos 0.5 mm thick UPVC plate,1830 mm x1400mm in size with new plates. Minimum inclination of plate with horizontal shall be 55 degree which will be maintained by iron channel.04m long and 355 mm dia.,24 nos UPVC perforated damage pipe shall be replaced with new pipe maintaining with proper alignment and level and also replaced iron channel if necessary. All the work must be followed based on CPHEEO manual. Tenderer shall ensure that plate settler executed by them shall be capable of giving turbidity of less than 10NTU for normal flow. Contractors shall also replace special type long spindle 400mm dia.defected sluice valve out of 08 nos. valve if necessary. Stripping off worn out plaster and racking out joints of wall floor of 08 nos plate settler chamber and renewing the plaster with 15 mm thick cement plaster in proportion of 1:4 will be done by the contractor. Contractor also repair and color wash of 1.5 inch. dia. GI pipe barricading works around the 08nos.plate settler,150mm dia. Sludge remove DI pipe sluice valve etc. Removing of deposited sludge and also cleaning disinfecting all hopper shape sludge blanket are included in this work GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF 08NOS PLATE SETTLER Nos of Units- 08Nos Rectangular Material of construction- RCC Size of unit- 4.76Mx4.40Mx2.20M S.W.D.
