OPERATION OF POLLUTION CONTROL UNIT AND ASH WATER RECIRCULATION SYSTEM AT ASH POND

Operation of pollution control unit.: Operation of Pollution Control Unit to carry out the work as per scope of work for item no. 1(A).

Operation support carrying of material: Opearation support such as carrying of handles, carrying of materials from one place to another, opening of valves and other miscellaneous works (by engaging Un-skilled worker) related to operation support as instructed by the Area-i-charge (Ref. item no.-2 of the scope of work).

Lifting of Alum, Lime & PAC :Lifting of Alum,Lime and Ploy Electrolyte from the ground floor of Chemical Godown to the solution preparation tanks situated at the first fllor of chemical house by the help of hoist. In case the hoist is out of out, lifting of chemicals to be done manually. Digging and losing compacted chemicals is to done whenever necessary before lifting when required (by engaging Un-skilled worker) (Ref. Item no. 3 of Scope of Work).

Removal of Hyacinth: Removal of Hyacinth from the spillway strainer and flush mixer strainer in General Shift. Unskilled worker shall be deployed for this work. Theyshould collect the water samples from toe drain pit of ash pond for quality checking (by engaging Un-skilled worker) (Ref. item no.-3 of the scope of work).

Housekeeping and cleaning : Housekeeping and clenaing of dirts, oil, greese, etc. from the valve motors, pumps and connecting pipe lines, cleaning of panel boards cables racks, cleaning of launder of Turbo-circulator, clenaing of solution preparation tanks lubrication of pumps, etc. as per instructionof Area-in-charge (ref. Item no.- 4 of the scope of the work).

Collection and transportation: Collection and Transportaion of all chemical like Non-Ferric Alum, Lime Bleaching powder , Poly Electrolytes and other chemicals from CPP Central store / Chemical House of WTP to PCU fo Ash Pond. The loading, unloading and stacking of materials in PCU Chemical Stores are to be done by labourers as and when required. Thease materials may be shifted from one loaction to other as per the requirement (Ref. Item no.-5 of the Scope of work).

Providing & Grouting of Shear key: Providing & Grouting of Shear key of MS Bar of 12mm dia. and 125 mm embedding length by drilling holes in concrete by suitable means. The anchoring of shear keys shall be done by injecting with suitable epoxy resin hardening system in to the existing concrete all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge. a) The rate shall be inclusive of epoxy resin grout to be injected in to the concrete of approved brand & manufacture) b) The Steel for Shear keys(MS Bar) will be issued by NALCO at free of cost. Special Product: Sika Anchorfix 3030 or equivalent
