Sub Estimate-VIII:- Strengthening and repairs to the head regulator

Planning, designing and implementation of approved methodology for carrying out repairs and strengthening of the head regulator with approved materials like cement, synthetic resins, admixtures etc. to achieve the water tightness in the regulator well to the extent to keep the well in dry condition. The said job work includes scaffolding, centering shuttering, scrapping of weak concrete/plaster, surface cleaning, filling up the damaged/curved portion with approved chemical products, treatment to exposed reinforcement, drilling of grout holes, and grouting to resist water pressure of minimum 2 kg/cm2, with suitable grout material/cements or any approved synthetic material/waterproofing system to achieve the objective. The cleaned surface should be coated with bonding paint, to support the additional RCC 1:1:2 lining of 10 cm thick with proper keys (hold fast) to hold the steel in position, and with approved admixtures etc. (Steel reinforcement to be paid separately) All complete as directed by Engineer in charge. ( Internal Dia of well 3.00 metre and depth 20.00 metre)

Repairs to RCC duct of internal size 1.1mx1.1m of intake tank of Amthane MI tank by grouting the gap between the RCC duct and 900 mm dia 12mm thick m.s. Pipe inserted within it. Lenght of duct =32.0m .The work includes the following i) Cleaning Surface :- Cleaning the surface of concrete using cleaning agent, washing the surface using 200 bar pressure water jet, hacking and opening of all the demaged concrete at the accesible area using heavy duty chiseled hammer, grinding the surface with rotary wire brush to remove all the loose particles etc... ii) Microconcrete grout:- roviding & laying ready to use polymer based free flow, non-shrink, Micro Concrete of minimum M35 grade including watertight shuttering with high bond strength for filling gap in side duct etc. complete. mixing by hand or preparation of partial quantities is not allowed.
