Manning, operation and maintenance of 22KV main receiving station, pumpsets-08Nos, DG set-4Nos, MRS substation consisting of Transformer/HT VCB/LT panels and pumphouse I&II consisting of pumpset/starter panels up to 15HP and DG sets upto 125KVA, sewage pumpset upto 6HP including attending day to day maintenance and break down at main receiving station, pumphouse and DG sets, AMF panels etc on all days of week including holidays and sundays by employing one Skiled Operator ( Electrician) per shift round the clock in various shift including maintenance of log sheets for MRS, pumpset & DG sets as per proforma complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge to carry out the works at CGRA CGDHQ-16 Tuticorin. Man Power Requirements 01 No of Skilled Operator (Electrician) 03 (Three ) shifts per day 1st Shift (0600 Hrs to 1400Hrs) IInd shift (1400 Hrs to 2200Hrs) IIInd Shifts (2200 Hrs to 0600Hrs)
The scope of work includes: (a) Routine check/attending breakdown/Do fuse replacment &maintanance of 2pole structure with tightening the jumbers/.replace clamps/washers as per site requirment. (b) Switching on/off streetlights on all days in CGRA area. (c) Routine check of pumpsets/DG set/substation equipments carryout minor repair works. (d) Cleaning and maintaining of MRS/Pumphouse /DG set area and premises.(e) Attending fuse call/No supply complaints.(f) Recording and maintaining of shundown/chlorine/water meter reading register at pumphouse and chlorine reading shall be taken at places as specified by Engineer-in-Charge. (g) Any other work specifically not mentioned above but ordered by the Engineer-In-charge for smooth functioning of the above equipments. (h) Attending immediate breakdowns in Md Accn, OTM Buildings and street lights. (j) Maintenance of DG set batteries with apply of petroleum jelly and topping up of distilled water. (k) The Skilled operator (Electrician) should ensure uninterrupted electric supply and operating Chlorine pumps,attending water supply minor complaints and providing uninterruptted water supply in three shifts including all holidays and sundays

Manning, operation and maintenance of pumpsets - 4Nos, DG sets-2Nos, LT Panels ,starter panels,Sewage pump set upto 6HP including maintenance of pumpset, DG sets, AMF panels etc.on all days of week and attending electrical complaints including holidays and sundays by employing one Electrician/ FGM per shift round the clock in various shift including maintenance of logsheets for Pumpsets & DG sets as per proforma complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge to carryout the following works at OTM complex area, CGDHQ-16 Tuticorin:- Man Power Requirements O1 Electrician (Skilled), 01 FGM (Semiskilled) 03 (Three) shifts per day 1st Shift (0600 Hrs to 1400Hrs) IInd shift (1400 Hrs to 2200Hrs) IIInd Shifts (2200 Hrs to 0600Hrs)
The scope of works includes. (a) Switching on/off streetlights on all days in OTM complex area CGS Tuticorin. (c) Routine check of pumpsets/DG set/carryout minor repair works. (d) Cleaning and maintaining of MRS Pumphouse /DG set area and premises. (e) Attending phone call/No supply complaints for the shift of 22.00hrs to 06.00hrs. (f) Recording and maintaining of shundown/chlorine/water meter reading register at pumphouse and chlorine reading shall be taken at places as specified by Engineer-in-Charge. (g) Attending immediate breakdowns in buildings, street lights etc. (h) Maintenance of DG set batteries with apply of petroleum jelly and topping up of distilled water. (j)Any other work specifically not mentioned above but ordered by the Engineer-In-charge for smooth functioning of the above equipments. Note : (i)Diesel for DG Set will be provided by the department under Schedule B Free for Filling Only. The diesel will be collected by the contractor or his authorised Rep by name from any diesel bunk as directed by the Engineer -in-charge.(ii)The rate quoted by the contracter is inclusive of providing uniform set and minor parts viz:Bolts,nuts etc .
(a) Skilled operator(Electrician)
(b) Semi Skilled FGM(Fitter/Pump Operator )
Manning, operation and maintenance of swimming pool machineries installed at swimming pool by providing operator including operation of re-circulation pumps with filtration plants for eight hours, operating electrically operated and manual pulling type suction sweeper as and when required to clean bed and walls of the pool every day. Side walls overflow channel and all internal drains shall be cleaned manually with hand brush and jute cloth to remove algae and other foreign material scale etc. The FGM/operator shall operate chlorination system through bleaching dozer/chemical dozing pump installed at the swimming pool based on requirement basis as directed. The Contractor shall ensure uninterrupted services by qualified/experienced individuals for minimum of 8 hours a day as per schedule decided by engineer in charge. The operation of swimming pool shall be carried out including Sundays & holidays. The scope of works includes. (a) Operation of pumping set timing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Operating sluice valve to maintain water level of the swimming pool due to evaporation and spillage
(c) Using/mixing Bleaching powder/Altoch GP/sodium Hypochlorite/Poly aluminum chloride powder/Alum/copper sulphate/soda ash sodium meta bisulphate in swimming pool as directed including maintaining average chlorine content in between 0.1 to 0.5 ppm or maintaining chlorine level as ordered by competent Station authority and maintaining pH between 7.2 to 7.5 and maintaining the records as ordered and accounting of Bleaching powder/Altoch GP/sodium Hypochlorite /Alum/copper sulphate/soda ash sodium meta bisulphate which will be issued under Sch 'B' free for mixing only. Any extra effort/man power /transportation required for the same is to be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost. (d) All the documentation such as log sheets, daily attendance register shall be maintained as per procedure in vogue. (e) Maintaining the general cleanness of swimming pool installation at all times as per direction of Engr in Charge. (f) Cleaning the floor of Swimming Pool ( if required) by Operating the suction sweeper plant as ordered by Engr In Charge. (g) Carrying out the Replacement of clean water at a interval as ordered by Engr in Charge. Man Power Requirements 01 FGM (Semiskilled) 01 (One) shift per day Ist shift ( 0500 Hrs to 13 00 Hrs )
Semi Skilled FGM(Fitter/Pump Operator )
General Note for Item Nos. 1 to 3 : 1. The rates quoted is inclusive for attending all complaints of Internal / External electrification and water supply break downs including liasion with TNEB and Water Supply department to restore supply incase of break down / failure of supply. 2. Any other minor work to restore the electric supply shall be done as directed by the Engineer - in- charge. 3. The rate quoted is deemed to include the cost towards uniform for the staff employed for wearing during the working hours . The uniform shall be pant, shirt & shoes and the pattern of the uniform shall be decided by GE.
4. The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of supply and maintenance of the documents such as log sheets of DG Set, Pump set, complaint register, Earth test register, Attendance register, plant log sheet etc complete all as directed and plant maintenance record book and daily log sheet to be submitted to concered JE before 1000 hrs of suceeding day otherwise absent report will be initiated for those shift for which log sheet are not submitted. 5. The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost towards keeping the substation and pumphouse surrounding area neat and tidy during the contract period.
6. The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of tools and safety equipement required for running and maintenance of plants. 7.The contracor shall be fully responsible for making payment to the tradesman/ Helper as per the minimum wages act of the regional labour commissioner. 8.Checking of presence of chlorine on daily basis and PH testing as directed by Engr -in-Charge and to maintain the record of the same is to be carried out out. Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of testing of water. 9.Testing of water samples once in every five months for chemical and bacteriological analysis from Govt Authorised Laboratory and submit the report to this office.
10. Necessary inventory for the items installed at site to be prepared jointly for Handing /Taking over of assets between Department and Contractor,any Deficiency in items noticed during the period of contract,the contractor shall be liable to make good to the items with the items of original specifications as recieved at the time of Taking over.
11. Necessary Insurance for all the Employees Deployed for the M&O to be carried out as per prevailing Rules and copy of the same should be submitted to the Eng.in.charge within one month from the commencement of the work. 12. It will be Contractors responsibility to submit all the documents as asked by the Security Department of the concerned area to obtain Necessary Entry Passes to the working area and copy of the same should be submitted to the Engineer In charge.
13.All the Plants to be kept in serviceable condition with Minor Repairs and Replacements (costing not more than Rs 5000.00 during the whole contract Period). Any Major Faults occurred to be intimated to concerned JE and Engr in Charge so that the same can be rectified immediately. 14. If any Person found absent from duty recovery will be made at Rs 1000.00 per shift for skilled operator and Rs 800 per shift for semi skilled operator, However maximum penalty for absent from the duty shall not exceed 10% of the CA amount for a whole period of contract.
15. The payment shall be made to the employees by the contractor through AADHAAR linked bank account. 16. All the Skilled operator shall be qualified holding certificate in the trade from ITI or equivalent institute and having minimum two year experience and the Semi skilled operator should have minimum two years experience certificate in the repsective field for which they are to be deployed and all certificates produced within 7 days for the issue of work order otherwirse the operator should be removed from duty.
17. Spares required other than mentioned above for urgent repair of E/M equipments will be issued as and when requried basis at MES store yard subject to availability of the stores. Cost for fixing of the items is deemed to be included in item No. 1 to 4 above. 19 The power Factor to be monitored regularly and to maintain proper record.Incase of any fault in the APFC Panel the same to be intimated to JE/Engineer in charge within 1/2 hrs ( 30 minutes). Incase of non intimation within 30 minutes due to contractor's negligency, the penality imposed by TNEB on this account shall be borne by the contractor and the same will be recovered from conrtractors due. The decision of Accepting officer in this regard is final and binding.
20.All Safety gear and tools shall be provided by the contractor and to be use at the time of working by the staff.Incase any accident ocurred the contractor shall be responsible for the same and the department will not be responsible. (21) The Bidder should obtain signature from the User concrened for the staff employed Daily before claming RAR in GEs office. (22) The Bidder should not quote less than the minimum fair wage in rupees for a Skilled / Semi skilled Operator as fixed under any Law,Statutory rule or Order as on the last due date of receipt of tender. Incase if any tenderer quoted less than the above rate,the tender considered as NON BONAFIDE and summarily rejected.
