SPECIAL REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROAD AND PATHS OF ZONE A AREA AT AHMEDABAD CANTT UNDER GE (A) AHMEDABAD

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 Sqm and exceeding 50mm deep but not exceeding 100mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam using paving 4% bitumen content by weight of total using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts, dust and applying evenly one priming tack coat with paving bituminous primer at the rate 7.5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen of grade 80/100 (VG-10) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts, dust and applying evenly a priming /tack coat with paving bituminous primer at 2.5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen of grade 80/100 (VG-10) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete, 30mm consolidated/ compacted thickness with 5.5% (paving bitumen VG-30 Grade) binder content by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, spread by using mechanical paver and 8 to 10 tonne power road roller, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable/ damaged road furniture items like Solar studs, cat eye, delenators of any dimensions etc.

Material and labour for preparing concrete/ bituminous surfaces and painting lines, dashes (contineous/ uninterrupted), arrows, letters not exceeding 10 cm width with hot applied thermo plastic road marking materials all as specified in clause 803.4 of MORTH and H Specification, white or golden yellow over a coat of primer complete all using road painting machine complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of Model Number DA 972.0 fixed with and including mild steel stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old concrete surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of ston slab and tiles of any description or thickness as in floors, apron etc laid, bedded and point in any mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise as directed and as specified.

Material and labour for rubber moulded factory made chequered cement concrete tiles of size 300mm x 300mm x 25mm thick made of grey cement with pigment, laid over and including 15mm thick cement mortar in 1:6 bedding, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness and size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern finishing and sweeping extra sand complete with joints to match size and shape as approved by Engr-in-Charge.
