Excavation in drains and channels etc, in earth work in all kinds of soil such as kankar Moorum, shingles, Coglomerate saturated soil decomposed or soft rock and hard rock by blasting by chiselling (where blasting prohabitated) including dressing of sides and beds disposing of excavated earth with all leads and lifts disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed and then returning the stacked soil into foundation and trenches, etc, including ramming and consolidating the same wherever required with all leads and lifts and including jungle clearance and as per direction of Engieer-in-charge

Laying, testing & testing in trenched (to level or grade) G.I. pipe of following dia (H/M class) confirming to IS 1239-1990 Part-I) (latest up to date amenments) of grade and wall thickness below, suitable to withstand required hydraulic test in randum length 4 m-6 m with plain ends and joined with MS Flanges confirming to IS 6392-1971 (Latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS 814-1991 includinIS-169-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00 mm in thicness as per IS:2712-198 & butt welded joints. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers on outer face & one layer on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The laying of pipe confirm to IS 5822-1994 and as per CPHEED manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointig including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge incluiding entire carriage of material up to all leads and lifts, (Earth work in trenches, welding of flanges/butt welding will be measured and paid for seperately)

Providing and fixing M.S flanges various dia (nominal bore) to GMS (Medium /heavy ) class as per ( IS code 6392-1971) duly welded leak proof to each joint/ Bends of all degree along with nuts, bolts and washers of IS : 1963 specification including packing sheets 3 mm thick (maximum ) etc including all leads lifts and carriage of material at site and as direted by the Engineer incharge.
