Sewage Disposal
S&F 900x900x100 mm size Steel Fibre Rinforced Concrete (SFRC) Cover with frame, extra heavy duty, Grade (EDH-35) conforming to IS 12592-2002 and ISI marked, set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.
External Water Supply
M&L for valve chamber of internal size 750x750x750mm comprising of 50mm thick PCC 1:5:10 type E2 foundation, 200mm thick brick wall in CM 1:6, 15mm thick plastering in CM 1:4 internally and externally up to 50mm below GL, 100mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type B1 as in copings, 3mm thick MS sheet cover with suitable hinges and locking arrangement, painting steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of redoxide zinch rich primer including necessary earth work and excavation in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.
Cutting existing steel tubing for alterations or additions necessarily done in position without taking down and inserting CI Tees of size 300 mm, CI reducers of size 300 mm to 80 mm, mechanical joint collar of size 300 mm complete for tapping all as specified and as directed.
External Electrification
Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 11 kV / 0.433 kV, 500 kVA OEM Factory Manufactured, Factory Tested ready to install and connections type Compact Substation with an outdoor enclosure, equipped with 500 kVA oil (ONAN) cooled Transfomer, 3 Way, 11 kV Motorised/Manual Ring Main Unit (SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear) consisting of 2 Nos, 630 A 11 kV Load Breaking Switch & 01 Nos VCB SF6 Gas insulated Vacuum Circuit Breaker and with associated LT switchgears having incomer of ACB 800 A 50 kA 01 No with outgoing of MCCB 400A 36 kA - 02 Nos (one for EV panel and one spare), MCCB 200 A 35 kA 03Nos (one fire panel, one APFC panel and one spare) and MCCB 63-80 A, 16 kA- 03Nos (one for DG AMF panel, Bldg Panel and one spare) as secondary side control complete with HT Cable interconnection in between Transformer and RMU and suitable sized Busbar between Transformer and LV Incoming Main Switchgear and Internal earthing connections by GI Strips all as a single transport unit complete all as specified as detailed below :-
(a) Enclosure: Outdoor type Galvansied enclosure having modular construction with 2mm thick Galvanized Sheet Steel in Corrugated / Louvered design type wall design for better heat dissipation and providing robust construction. The degree of protection for HT & LT switchgear compartment shall be IP54 & degree of protection of transformer compartment of the enclosure shall be minimum IP34. The enclosure exterior shall be painted with polyurethane paint / epoxy powder coated and tropicalised to Indian weather conditions. Each compartment shall be provided with the door and pad locking arrangement. Doors of transformer compartment are fitted with Arc reflectors from the inside for providing better safety. The Compartment illumination lamp with door-operated switch shall be provided for each compartment. Structure of the substation shall be able to withstand the gross weight of all equipment. The Compact Substation shall be provided with lifting beams and hooks for easy installation at site and it shall be possible to transport the equipment along with Transformer, RMU & LT Panel from one site to another.
(b) HT Switchgear (Inside Compact Sub-Station): Three way 11 kV, 630 A, 21 kA / 3 Sec Non-Extensible Ring Main Unit / Compact Switchgear with Copper Busbar, consisting of 630 A, Two Numbers (As incomer) fixed Manual/ Motorised Load Break Switches & One Numbers Fixed Manual/Motorised SF6 insulated Vacuum Circuit Breakers (As Outgoing) in SF6 Gas insulated sealed for life minimum 2 mm thickness SS 441 stainless steel tank IP 67 degree of protection with Air Insulated Metering Module along with FRTU, One Number fault passage indicator shall be provided for each Load Break Switch with 1 NO + 1 NC Contact, One Number manometer shall be provided for outgoing feeders, One set of 100/1 A, 2.5 VA, Class 1.0 for metering & One set of 100 / 1A, 2.5 VA, CL 5P 10 Current Transformers shall be provided, One number of Digital Multifunction Meter with RS 485 Port shall be provided for VCB Feeders, One Set of 11 kV / RT3 / 110 / RT3, Class 1.0, 20 kVA PT shall be provided in Metering Module. Vacuum Circuit Breakers shall be with self-powered micro processor based Numerial Over Current and Earth Fault Relay having Charged Open / Closing Mechanism, On / Off Indicators, Mechanical Operation Counters etc. Interconnection between RMU and Transformer shall be using suitable Aluminium unarmoured 11 KV (UE) 3runs x 1 Core x 240 Sq.mm XLPE cable.
(c) Transformer (Inside Compact Sub-Station): 500 kVA, 11 kV / 433 V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, DYn 11, ONAN Cooling oil filled type, Copper Wound, CRGO Core Transformer with OLTC of range +5% to -15% in steps of 1.25% on HT side of transformer, having Primary Voltage (HT) 11 kV and Secondary Voltage (LT) of 433 Volts, Delta connected on 11 kV Side & Star connected on 433 Volts side, designed & constructed with particular reference to Tropical Condition, conforming to IS:1180 Level 2 BIS marked and BEE star levelled with latest amendment – 1 Nos.
(d) LV Switchgear (Inside Compact Sub-Station): 433 Volts, indoor LV Panel with Aluminium Busbars (100% for Phase & 50% for neutral, fabricated using 2 mm thick CRCA Sheet Steel, Ingress Protection IP4X, Compartmentalised complete with internal wiring consisting of following: (i) LT switchgears having incomer of ACB 800A 50KA 01 No with outgoing of MCCB 400A 36KA - 02 nos (one for EV panel and one spare), MCCB 200A 35KA 03Nos (one fire panel, one APFC panel and one spare) and MCCB 63-80A, 16KA- 03Nos (one for DG AMF panel, Bldg Panel and one spare) (ii) Metering for Incomer: EM6433 Energy kWH Meter, LT Metering CT’s, 2500 / 1A, Cast Resin Type, Class - 0.2 – 1 Set, R, Y, B, ON, OFF, Trip LED Indicating Lamps – 1 Set, Control MCB, SP, 6 Amps – As required (iii) Outgoing : TPN Aluminium busbar of 3750 Amps rated with porcelain based insulators and PVC insulation sleeves with proper colour code
(e) Compact Substation shall be outdoor Plinth Mounted Type. The rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Erection, Commissioning of Compact Substation and Civil work such as Construction of foundation with PCC 1:1.5:3, with plastering for the installation of Compact Substation of required size including trench for the cabling work etc complete in all respect. However the bidder shall furnish the foundation details/GA drawings of CSS for approval of GE as per OEM recomendation before executing the work, CSS should be supplied through OEM only. (f) Compact Substation shall be complete with the internal interconnections & Earthing (GI) and extending of earth bar of Neutral and body terminals to the frame of the Compact Substation for connecting to the earth pits.

DG SET
(I) ENGINE (a) General: Suitable four stroke compressed ignition, radiator water cooled, Turbo charged aspiration, continuous duty with 10% overload capacity for any one hour in 12 hours running, 50°C intake air temperature, CPCB-IV+ as per latest amendment Euro emission engine developing minimum 76 BHP at 1500 RPM coupled to alternator mounted on Channel Iron base frame with in built fuel tank of minimum capacity suitable for 12 hrs continous running. The prime mover provided should be as per IS specifications. (b) Air intake system : Should comprise of dry type intake air filter mounted on engine, one in number vacuum indicator mounted on intake piping. (c) Exhaust System: Should comprise of one exhaust manifold, dry type, mounted on engine, one exhaust residential type silencer which should be positioned in such a way that the exhaust gas is not sucked by the fan on the radiator, thereby affecting the cooling system. The silencer should cater to the noise level tolerance prescribed in the relevant IS/BS. The silencer should be provided with flaps with a provision so that it will open only when the generator is running. The complete exhaust system shall be properly supported so that entire lot of the exhaust system shall not fall on the DG Set.
(d) Fuel System: Should comprise of disposal type element fuel filter, pressure type fuel pump mounted on engine, non return check valve in fuel supply and drain lines, wire braided hose between filter and pump, fuel system with suitable capacity electronic governor and engine mounted actuator. The fuel tank must have proper locking arrangement with level indicator and to be integrated with base frame. (e) Cooling System: Should comprise of radiator designed and tested for 50 degree Centigrade ambient temperature with 7 PSI pressure cap mounted on base rail. The thermostat installed in the engine coolant outlet, fresh water pump mounted on engine, fan and fan hub mounted on engine. A reservoir of 50% of radiator capacity to replenish coolant by gravity (as and when required) is also to be provided. (f) Lubricating System: Should comprise of lubricating oil sump mounted on engine, gear driven lubricating oil pump mounted on engine, lubricating oil cooler-fresh water cooled integral with engine cool out circuit mounted on engine, oil filter lubricating with cap and lubricating oil dip stick for oil level check mounted on engine. The system should be capable of feeding lube oil to the main end & large end bearings, cam shaft, valve rocker gear and all moving parts. (g) Starting System: Should comprise of suitable Voltage DC electrical starter mounted on engine, with suitable maintenance free batteries of capacity 12 V DC with suitable AH to be mounted in trays (having rubber insulation) on the main frame. It should have the provision to charge the battery from external sources during static condition and while running of the generator.
(n) Acoustic Enclosure :- Specially designed to meet CPCB norms 75 dBA @ 1 m at 75% load under free field conditions. The Acoustic enclosure is made of CRCA sheets and a structural/sheet metal base with high quality noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic insulation material (PU Foam) complying to IS 8183 with two point lifting handles (a) Internal Lighting: Tube lights with protective mesh around it to be fitted inside the container for proper illumination (b) Doors : The enclosure will be provided with suitable doors on the side and rear to enter the enclosure during operation and maintenance. All doors will be provided with lock and handles for opening/ closing the doors, retainers for holding the panel door (p) Painting Scheme ISS shade 220 olive green 1994 or all as per manufacturers specifications (q) Lifting/ Transportation arrangements :- Container with suitable corners will be provided to lift the DG set along with container. (ii) Preventive maintenance consists of carrying out routine check by skilled personnel as specified in Particular specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and lubricating to all moving parts, topping parts, topping up of oils as per Lubrication Chart including Material and labour for all consumable and major/minor spare parts. (iii) Breakdown maintenance consists of attending to the faults that may occur and carrying out necessary repairs to electrical, control circuits and mechanical components including materials & labour for all minor & major spare parts and consumables of the lift that may occur during the operation. (iv) Monthly, Fortnightly, quarterly maintenance registers shall be maintained and signed by the site engineer and contractor. (v) Load testing shall be arranged by the contractor to the Lift for which repairs were carried out as and when directed by Engr -in-Charge. (vi) All maintenance works shall be carried out by well qualified tradesmen and supervisor of OEM.
