ATA 2020 - Repair and Painting work of PAP Cooling tower

Chipping & removing portions of existing RCC works carefully without damaging the remaining structure & removing the debris as per directions within a distance of 150 m.

Chipping & removing old cement plastered surface including racking out joints & clearing the surface for replastering & disposal of the debris as per directions within a distance of 150 m.

Cement plastering with CM 1:3,12 mm thick one coat floated hard and trowelled smooth at all levels,excluding cost of cement

Providing formwork to RCC works with necessary wooden planks, joists, runners, posts etc.including removal after completion of works for lintels, beams,columns,slabs etc at all levels

Providing reinforcements to RCC works with MS / Tor steel rods including all charges for conveying, straightening/uncoiling, cutting, bending, placing rods in position & tying with GI / black annealed tying wire of suitable gauge etc. complete.

Welding the Tor/MS rods with 6mm fillet welding at site (welding electrode for the work will be issuesd by the company free of cost at our stores)

Cement Concrete work in 1:1½:3 nominal mix using 20 mm and downgrade hard granite broken stone including all charges for mixing concrete, laying, consolidating, curing etc.complete but excluding cost of form work & reinforcement works.For foundation footings, bottom & sides of trenches, equipment foundations, plinth beams, lintels, slabs, columns & beams etc al all levels.(excluding cost of cement)

Taking out carefully the wooden grids/PVC grids from cooling tower and stacking the same at places pointed out at site for reuse

Removing carefully and stacking for reuse the wooden joists/planks for supporting the wooden/PVC grids and refixing the same inside the cooling tower at all heights as per departmental instructions

Supplying good quality Maruthu’ wood of specified size as per departmental instructions.(for cooling tower scantlings, planks, grid members etc)

Labour charges for making the supplied ‘Maruthu’ wood scantlings as joists, louvers, louver frames etc to suit at site and fixing in position as per departmental instructions.

Reconditioning and forming new grids with dismantled materials/ new maruthu wood including necessary SS nails and placing in position in cooling tower at all heights including the cost of labour, scaffolding/Jet washing to clean in the case of PVC fills etc. complete as per departmental instructions

Applying one coat of Epoxy Zinc Phosphate Primer of approved brand & quality at all heights after thoroughly cleaning to remove grease, oil, rust, dust and any other foreign materials including cost of primer, scaffolding charges, labour charges and all other incidental charges etc.complete as per departmental instructions at site.

Applying one coat of epoxy finish paint high build of approved brand at all levels after cleaning the surface thoroughly including cost of paint and materials,scaffolding charges, labour charges and all other incidental charges etc.complete as per deptl. instructions.

Painting with one coat of zinc chromate yellow metal primer and two coats in distinct colour of synthetic enamel paint using approved brand & quality at all heights after cleaning the surface including cost of all paint and materials, labour charges, scaffolding charges etc.complete as per deptl instructions

Collecting spoil earth, debris etc.from site, conveying to places with an average lead of 1 KM by mechanical transport, dumping and forming embankment for filling, spreading in layers as per directions (20%deduction will be made if measured loose in lorries & from stack).
