Comprehensive maintenance of DG Set including Alternator AMF Panel for routine check up of the engine for the smooth functioning and carrying out the checks complete as per the manufactures instructions all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for 62.5/63KVA DG Sets . Make : KIRLOSKAR /CUMMINS (A) Every 50 Hours/One month whichever is earlier. (a) Repeat the daily checks. (b) Check oil level in the oil bath type air cleaner. (c) Check the fan belt tension. The deflection should be within 8 to 10mm at the Centre (for details pleaser refer to the maintenance manual). (d) Check the electrical connection.

(d) Replace the engine main lub oil filter element & sealing ring. (e) Grease the water pump bearing. (f) Clean the bottom filter. Note for serial item No 01 & 02:- Servicing shall be carried out by authorised service Engineer of Kirloskar/Cummins.

Supply and fix (in replacement) old unserviceable Air filter suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix (in replacement) old unserviceable oil filter element suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix (in replacement) old unserviceable fuel filter element suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replace the lubricant oil (IC engine for Gen set application). Old oil should be drained out after warming the engine. (Use MIL-L 2104C mono-grade oils only/15W40 overlain cummins/equivalent), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix (in replacement) old unserviceable priming pump suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Servicing of radiator assembly complete after draining out cooling water/coolant, spaces cleaning the inter coller and replace unserviceable rubber hose pipes, circlip clamps, cleaning of raditor mix with appropriate cleaning agent, de-scaling by means of scale solvent as well as neutralising agent to arrest leakages by means of brazing etc including replacement of coolant for the capacity of DG Set 62.5 KVA / 63 KVA, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Repair and servicing of 62.5 / 63 KVA Engine Kirlosker, type RB 66 / Cummins turbocharger assembly and replacing the service kit and reassembling & testing ,complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Servicing of self starter assembly of DG Set 24/12 Volts of 62.5 / 63 KVA capacity by disconnecting the self starter assembly from the engine and dismantling cleaning all accessories, replacing worn out parts like carbon brushes contact plates jumping levels etc and rewinding the fields coil with existing size guage of super enameled copper wire and warnishing, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix new digital Frequency meter of suitable size for the DG sets of any capacity, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of battery terminals of heavy duty brass with copper leads not less than 3M long-02 No of suitable /existing size, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of Automatic voltage regulator (AVR) suitable for DG Set 62.5 / 63 KVA , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of battery 150Ah suitable for DG Set 62.5 / 63 KVA ,complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make-Exide or equivalent as approved by AGE(I)

Suply and fix in replacement ignition switch suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suply and fix in replacement fuel level sensor suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suply and fix in replacement oil level sensor suitable for 63 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Suply and fix in replacement fuel level gauge suitable for 63 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level, connecting to galvanised iron strip 32mm X 6mm (as earth lead strip), by means of bolt, nuts, check nuts and washer of GI and GI strip protected by provision of GI pipe light grade, 40mm bore upto test point including provn of concrete pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25 x 25 x 3 mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 metres long placed on top edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection to earth test point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Supply & laying in replacement of existing unserviceable XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volt grade of crossectional area 16 Sqmm 2 core, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Cable junction box of size 140x 140 x 95 mm suitable for street light/PTL, square type, weather proof, IP-54 including fixing of 10Amp MCB SP and clamps, nuts, bolts, washers suitable for fixing to pole/GI pipes including suitable arrangemetn for cable entry and exit with 2 run of 1.5 sqmm FRLS flexible cable laying through PVC conduit from junction box to street light fitting complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing amp rating 240V, 10KA 'C' curve miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of current carrying capacity SP 5 to 32 Amp MCB complete with connection testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying or fixing or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable of size 16 sqmm 2 core with PVC insulated standard aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall PVC sheathed 4 sq. mm nominal cross section in service connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying or fixing or passing through pipe, 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable of size 10 sqmm 2 core with PVC insulated standard aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall PVC sheathed 4 sq. mm nominal cross section in service connections complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for replacement of existing unserviceable stay assembly complete using stay rod of 20mm dia 180cm long, stay wire of GI 7/4 mm standard, stay bow, stay clamp complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 01 of MES SSR Part-I (loop type insulator, excavation and PCC shall be measured and paid separately), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement of Shackle type procelain vitreous white, brown or green insulator working pressure 1100 volts of 90mm dia and 75 mm height ,including galvanised mild steel strips of size 31x3mm, size 12mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for ACSR conductor squirrel to dog (6/1/2.11 to 6/1/4.72) any size drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distrance between centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag, jointing jumpers etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Galvanized iron steel wire drawn straight horizontal as continous earth wire on existing LT poles of size 4.0 mm dia, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not execeeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in any type of soil, for laying of cable, erection of poles and stays etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for sand cushioning to underground cables as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR Part-1, laid before and after laying of cables, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for sub class 'B' brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brick, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing GI tubing, light grade with all fittings laid in trenches or under road crossing or fixed along walls / poles as protection pipe with clamps,nut, washer bolts (where necessary) bore of pipe 40mm, including taking down existing pipe, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Numbering of poles with synthetic enameled paint complete all as specified & directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note : The numbering shall be hand written only stencils embossing shall not be allowed and size of letter shall be 50x10mm (height x width)

M&L for structural steel work as in cross arms bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed inclusive one coat of primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of Air termination single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- The rate is inclusive of supporting pipe 15mm bore and PCC required at site.

Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required of size 25x4mm galvanised iron strip complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting of existing road/ floor/ plinth/drain for taking out/laying of UG cable through GI pipe including necessary earth work excavation and making good to match with existing surface not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and not exceeding 0.5 mtr in width with PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates), complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing LED street light fitting 35 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection complete.

Supply and fixing post top lantern LED type 20 watt 230 watt volts AC outdoor type with decorative post top for 360 degree indirect light IP 65 protection with impact and corrosion resistant complete with driver and lamp complete.

S&F in replacement of existing unserviceable MCCB any size & capacity with MCCB 4 pole 100 Amps, Icu 25 KA MCCBs, adjustable thermal and magnetic release & suitable thimbles/extended terminal with nuts, bolts and washers etc including minor required additional/alteration for fixing and connecting up MCCB all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Rate of extended terminal deemed to be included in quoted rate.
