Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including disposal of excavated earth up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, disposed soil to be levelled and neatly dressed as per specification and as directed by the departmental officers: All Kinds of soil.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared as as directed by the departmental officers.

Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material as directed by the departmental officers: Beyound 30 cm girth up to and including 60 cm girth.

Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable materials as directed by the departmental officers: Beyound 60 cm girth up to and including 120 cm girth.

Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as directed by the departmental officers: Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix).

Demolishing brick work manually / by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as directed by the departmental officers: In cement mortar.

Dismantling wood work in frames, trusses, purlins and rafters up to 10 metres span and 5 metres height including stacking the material within 50 metres lead as per the direction of departmental Officers: Of sectional area below 40 square centimeters.

Taking out existing wooden door shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required etc., complete as per the direction of departmental Officers.

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fasteners of required dia & length including all cost, conveyance, labour charges etc., complete as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers: Kiln seasoned and chemically treated Hollock wood.

Providing and fixing plain jaffri door and window shutters including bright or / and black enamelled M.S. butt hinges with necessary screws 35x10 mm laths placed 35 mm apart (frame to be paid separately), including fixing 50x12 mm beading etc., complete as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers with: Second class teak wood.

Providing and fixing glazed shutters for door, windows and clerestory windows using 4 mm thick float glass panes including ISI marked M.S. Pressed butt hinges bright finished of required size with necessary screws as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers: Kiln seasoned and chemically treated hollock wood 35 mm thick.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete as per the direction of departmental Officers including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 meters lead:With cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : fine sand).

Wall painting with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers: One or more coats on old work.

Supplying at site: R.C.C. Standards post / struts / rails / pales of mix 1:1.5:3 ( 1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 12.5 mm nominal size ) with wooden plugs or 6 mm bar nibs wherever required as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers(cost of earth works in excavation, concrete works in foundation to be paid separately).

Fencing with R.C.C. post placed at required distance, embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post one side only, provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 metres (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I staples on wooden plugs or G.I binding wire tied to 6 mm bar nibs fixed while casting the post as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers(cost of R.C.C. posts, struts, earth work and concrete to be paid for separately):- Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used .With G.I barbed wire.

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching , refilling & testing of joints complete as per the direction of departmental Officers: External work75 mm nominal inner dia pipes.

Cement concrete M20 with 20mm graded aggregates for pre-cast slab laying the same to lines and levels at all elevations, consolidating, curing, including cost of all materials, labour and conveyance charges, form work etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Appendix D- Maintenance of existing Office cum Store Building and Yard

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering as per specification and as directed by the departmental officers- All work up to plinth level:1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 nominal size).

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead as per the direction of departmental Officers.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 meters lead as per the direction of departmental Officers: With cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand).

12 mm cement plaster of mix:1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand) as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers.

Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, velleys and gutters etc., and stacking the material within 50 metres lead as per the direction of departmental Officers: Asbestos Sheet.

Providing ridges or hips width 60 cm overall width plain G.S. sheet fixed with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia G.I. limpet and bitumen washers complete.0.80 mm thick with zinc coating not less than 275 gm/m2 as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers.

Providing and fixing plain Multipurpose Cement board (High Pressure steam cured) as per IS : 14862, with suitable screws for fibre cement board in ceiling etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers: 6 mm thick cement board.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story hight made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staricase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of departmental officers. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note:- This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.

Providing and fixing ISI marked, IS : 1341, M.S. heavy weight butt hinges with necessary screws etc. complete:100x75x3.50mm as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers.

Providing and fixing wash basin with C.I. brackets, 15 mm C.P. brass pillar taps, 32 mm C.P. brass waste of standard pattern, including painting of fittings and brackets, cutting and making good the walls wherever required as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers: White Vitreous China Flat back wash basin size 550x400mm with single 15 mm C.P.brass pillar taps.

Supplying and fixing CP Towel rod 60cm or nearest available length including cost of materials and labour charges etc complete as per the direction of departmental officers.

Providing and fixing gun metal gate valve with C.I. wheel of approved quality (screwed end) as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers: 25 mm nominal bore.

Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge Cement Concrete paver blocks in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand. complete all as per the direction of deartmental Officers: 60mm thick cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern.

Supplying at site Angle iron post & strut of required size including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10 mm dia. etc. complete as directed by the departmental Officers:

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls ( any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts,buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc. up to floor five level as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing:1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for Columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts and struts as per specification and as directed by the departmental Officers.

Steel work welded in built up sections/framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works as per specification, drawing and as directed by the departmental Officers.

Appendix E- TANK Water Proofing works

Providing and applying integral crystalline slurry of hydrophilic in nature for water proofing treatment to the RCC structures like retaining walls of the basement, water tanks, roof slabs, podiums, reservior, sewage & water treatment plant, tunnels/ subway and bridge deck etc., prepared by mixing in the ratio of 5 : 2 (5 parts integral crystalline slurry : 2 parts water) for vertical surfaces and 3 : 1 (3 parts integral crystalline slurry : 1 part water) for horizontal surfaces and applying the same from negative (internal) side with the help of synthetic fiber brush. The material shall meet the requirements as specified in ACI-212-3R-2010 i.e by reducing permeability of concrete by more than 90% compared with control concrete as per DIN 1048 and resistant to 16 bar hydrostatic pressure on negative side. The crystalline slurry shall be capable of self-healing of cracks up to a width of 0.50mm. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the departmental Officers. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage.For vertical surface two coats @0.70 kg per sqm.
