Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth & getting out, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes or for laying underground cable, pipe lines etc. in hard and dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for chemical earthing in replacement with copper earth plate 90cm x 60cm x 5mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3.0 mtr deep beliow ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.25 mtrs below normal ground level, connecting to copper strip 50x6 mm as earthing strip by means of bolts, nut check nut and washers protected with and including 40 mm dia medium grade GI pipe, necessary excavation and earth work, magnesium sulphate (80 Kg), charcoal (4 Qtl) and common salt (4Qtl) filling, watering arrangement with 20 mm GI pipe medium grade including PCC pit with pre cast RCC (1:2:4) cover, GI funnel with test point, testing (all as shown in electrical plate No 3 and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note:- On testing, after completion if the earth resistance below 1 Ohms is not obtained earthing will rejuvenated at no extra cost till the desired earth resestance is obtined.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60 cm X 60 cm X 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to GI strip 24 x 4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber and MS frame and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (weight not less than 4 kg per Sqm) with CI frame, MS handle 12mm dia, funnel with wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 3 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009) drawing and connection to earth test point including testing and including dismantling and taking out old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (ii) The cost of excavation, earth work & PCC etc are included in the quoted rate. (iii) On testing after completion, if the earth resistance less than 1 Ohms is not obtained earthing will be regenerated at no extra cost till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (iv) The cost of writing of details on the surface of the pit with paint is included in the quoted rate.

All as per item No. 5 above but using copper plate 60cm x 60cm x 3.15mm electrode and 20 x 3mm copper strip as earthing lead.

M&L in repairs of test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs of earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 25x4mm galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs copper strip 20 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying, testing of light grade galvanised steel tube 40mm bore for encasing of strip including all fittings, laid in trenches and taking down existing pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brazing/soldering the copper strip of any existing size complete with necessary tools such as gas cylinder, soldering/brazing materials, copper nut bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repairs air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repairs air termination, single pointed copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairs to earth pits with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair HDPE pit cover complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including washers, insulator bolts, washers and nuts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs earth value / type indicator metal sheet post made of MS and sheet, post height 1.0 metre, sheet size 1500mm x 600mm x 3mm including two coat synthetic enamel paint (yellow/red/black) and fixed on PCC 1:2:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 20 mm bore steel tubing and connections including cleaning serviceable pipe and removing unserviceable pipe from site complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking up or down 15 mm bore steel tubing and connections including cleaning serviceable pipe and removing unserviceable pipe from site complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and laying, testing of medium grade galvanised steel tube 20mm bore including all fittings, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying, testing of medium grade galvanised steel tube 15mm bore including all fittings, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs PVC plastic short body Bib cock screwed for iron pipe size 15mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for salt water treatment for improvement earth resistance to obtain desired value of earthing complete all as specified and directed.
