Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes, laying cables erection of poles / struts/stays etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan, not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

M&L for sand cushioning to PVC underground cable with tibba sand and punning to provide a required cover complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose

M&L for PCC (1:2:4), type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate for as in coping of poles including form work etc. complete all as specified and directed

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40 mm grade stone aggregate in base, filling, mass concrete & foundation of stay assembly /struts/poles including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast cable covers class HV, type I, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling old existing MS cross arms of any type/shape complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old existing Insulators of any type/shape from HT/LT Pole complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable stay assembly etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L of pin type, porcelain, vitreous brown, white or green insulator (HT), 150mm height and 150 mm dia, 11000 volts grade including one galvanised MS spindle, two GI washers and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed

M&L of Disc type insulator, Porcelain, vitreous brown, white or green single disc assembly, 145mm high & 255mm dia ball & socket type, for tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling old existing ACSR conductor of any type/size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for stringing of HT overhead line Aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) conductor comprising of any size of conductor aluminium/copper/GI after opening binding wire from insulators and replace binding wire and achieved permissible sag limit of overhead line conductor complete all as directed and specified. NOTE:-Rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include for cutting/trimming of tree branches wherever touching the over headline around one metre clear of overhead line and removing trimmed branches as directed. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L earthing complete as per electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 mmx600mmx6mm, buried directly vertically in ground in a pit depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron or steel earth strip 32mm x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing strip shall be protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 40 mm bore light grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole / test point. Watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be of inclusive of excavation & earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & tested complete. NOTE:- (i)The concrete pit shall be made in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm thick precast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate with suitable MS handle in lieu of CI cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I shall be provided. Reinforcement in RCC cover shall be of 8mm dia TMT bars laid @150mm c/c both ways (ii) Quoted shall include the cost of 7.5 metre GI pipe for protection of earth wire. (iii) Quoted shall include cost of 7.5 metre earth lead wire. (iv) Earth electrode shall be surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of gang operated Air-break, triple pole disconnecting switch, outdoor, vertical mounting type (ISI marked), mechanically operated, mounted on insulators 15 Nos including 11 kV, 400 amp rating complete with (DO Fuse unit) fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements and frame work with operating mechanism and including adequate length of GI Pipes for operation from ground level, with locking arrangements including Godrej pattern 65mm pad locks with two keys, complete suitable for HT 11 KV, 50 Hz AC supply including necessary electric connections and taking down old U/S complete all as specified and directed

Taking down existing damage/unserviceable PVC insulated, armoured, aluminium conductor 11000 V grade cables of any size and core from trenches, pipe, ducts, pole etc where feasible and economical. Testing for serviceability of cable, cutting and segregating serviceable portion for relaying serviceable cable where directed complete all as specified and directed Note:- unserviceable cables shall be deposited to MES Store yard.

Supply, laying and commissioning XLPE insulated screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade earthed IS-7098 marked for HT 11 KV (E) System laid in trenches/ ducts/ encased in GI pipe/ fixed to poles including jointing & testing complete all as specified and directed of following cross sectional area :-

(a) 95 Sqmm, 3 core cable

(b) 185 Sqmm, 3 core cable

M&L for cable end termination, jointing kit for HT 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor complete all as specified and directed of following sizes :-

(a) 95 Sqmm x 3 core

(b) 120 to 185 Sqmm x 3 core

(c) 240 to 300 Sqmm x 3 core Note: For item No 23.01 to 23.03:- The contractor shall be liable for filling of the joints round the clock at the time of occurring of cable fault. The joint shall be filled and supply be restored within 05 Hrs from the complaint given by JE/Engineer-in-Charge. After that shall be charged at the rate of Rs 500/- per hrs

M&L for straight through, jointing kit for HT 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor complete all as specified and directed of following sizes :-

(a) 95 Sqmm x 3 core

(b) 120 to 185 Sqmm x 3 core

(c) 240 sqmm to 300 sqmm x 3 core Note: For item No 24.01 to 24.03:- (a) The contractor shall be liable for filling of the joints round the clock at the time of occurring of cable fault. The joint shall be filled and supply be restored within 05 Hrs from the complaint given by JE/Engineer-in-Charge. After that shall be charged at the rate of Rs 500/- per hrs (b) The rate quoted by contractor shall be included the cost of taking out the old unserviceable cable, excavation and returning, filling and removal of pit after restoration of power supply.

M&L for painting the external exposed surfaces of 2 pole structures of steel tubular swaged poles of 11 metres long alongwith cross arms, bracket and connected accessories with one coat of aluminium paint including preparation of old painted surfaces and writing the details of the pole in white letters on black back ground and pasting radium red stickers/paint with 3 lines around the pole complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint over PCC pole including preparation of old painted surfaces and writing the details of the pole in white letters on black back ground and painting radium paint of yellow and black with 3strips around the pole of size not less than 4 cm complete all as directed complete all as directed

M/L trimming/cutting of tree branches to provide proper clearance around existing HT over head line up to 3 lines with clearance of 3mtr on both the sides from centre of OH line all as per technical requirement including removing of cut trees branches from site and depositing one place for burning/removing complete all as specified and directed

M&L for restraining only ACSR conductor of any span/size/type of HT/LT overhead line by opening from existing poles and refixing the same with suitable binding complete all as specified and directed

Surface Dressing / Cleaning of Surrounding substation area of Two Pole / four Pole Structure premises at GTC Area, DOE Area, Abheara area and Certain Other areas include removal of tree branches; small trees plants bushes etc at substation including two pole/four pole structures complete all as specified and directed

S&F of Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required by using galvanised iron 32x6 mm strip as earth lug lead including fasteners complete all as specified and directed

S&F for HT cables route indicator cast iron of suitable size along HT cable trench including painting and grouted in ground in PCC etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20cm size and danger plate indicated in hindi and english and local vernacular complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of existing road/path for laying of GI pipe protection for UG cable including making good disturbed area/surface complete all as specified and directed

M&L for repairing/overhauling of Air break switch and DO fuse unit up to 400 Amps capacity 11 KV triple pole Mechanically operated mounted on insulators and steel frame installed vertically/horizontally by oiling and greasing of mechanical moving parts smoothing and polishing of electric contacts and applying conducting jelly to contact and replacement of broken/worn out components (as order) including testing after repair complete all as specified and directed Note-: Replacement of worn out components /parts/insulators etc shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective items here in after.

(Note :- (i) The contractor shall arrange for the standby supply for testing of relays, (ii) Servicing/ Testing of above job to be carried out by engineers of authorised dealer/services centre of concerned OEM (iii) No extra payments will be made to the contractor for the same. (iv) Unit rates quoted by contractor shall deemed to include for, bolts, washers, lugs, thimble, wires and petty items required for efficient and smooth functioning of the equipment without any extra cost to the Govt.

M&L for hiring of cable fault locator machine for HT cables working voltage 11 KV to find out the fault in underground cable at different location up to 500 RM after locate fault filling the straight through joint of size of existing cable and changing the cable with jointing on both side in RMU or over head line complete all as specified and directed Note: (a) The contractor shall be liable for providing cable fault locator services round the clock at the time of occurring of cable fault. The power supply shall be restored within 10 Hrs from the complaint given by JE/Engineer-in-Charge. After that shall be charged at the rate of Rs 500/- per hrs (b) The Cost of M&L for straight through joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

M & L for opening the existing RMUs of 11 KV rating, disconnecting the HT cables of any size and servicing the fixed/ moving contact & blowing out dust and applying the proper lubrication/ greasing & gas charging for repair and replacement of defective components of RMU, lamp indicators, calibration of relays & digital meters, over load protection relay, time delay relay / earth fault relay, charging spring etc. cleaning the fixed and moving contact inside the RMUs properly, servicing and greasing all moveable mechanism, replacement of defective fuses, wiring and reassembling and testing complete all as specified and directed Note :-(i) The contractor shall arrange for the standby supply for testing of relays (ii) The rates quoted by the contactor shall include cost of any other spare parts/relay not mentioned herein but essentially required for functioning of the system. (iii) Testing of above job to be carried out by engineers of authorised dealer/services centre of concerned OEM (iv) No extra payments will be made to the contractor for the same. (v) Unit rates quoted by Contractors shall deemed to include for, bolts, washers, lugs, thimble, wires and petty items required for efficient and smooth functioning of the equipment without any extra cost to the Govt.
