PART-1 CIVIL WORKS:- Design, Drawing, testing of bearing capacity of soil and Geological Survey and construction of Intake works consisting of RCC Dry Intake well - cum- pump house of 6.00m internal Diameter and 18.00 m height excluding 5.00 m height for pump house (In brick work) at Bank of River Ganga near village Saur with approach bridge of 2.50 m wide with length 15.00 m. including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc. complete for proper completion of work. All the principal details of Intake Well given below for proper completion of work as per direction given by Engineer-In-Charge.
a- Raft of the well will be upto 5.0 m below the lowest water level of the Ganga river or as per the decision of Engineer-In-Charge.
b- The well should have 1.2 m wide balcony with 1.2 m high 20 mm dia GI pipe railing in three rows at 0.4 m c/c all around.
c- Intake well deck floor slab having its bottom 1.0m above HFL. The slab will have suitable opening for the inside spiral stair case and opening have suitable 1.0m high railing of 20 mm dia G.I. pipe in 3 (three) rows supported on MS angle iron post.The Intake well shall have a 0.75 mtr wide R.C.C. or MS Spiral stair case with suitable landing and 1.00 m high GI Pipe, 20 mm dia railing in three rows supported on angle Iron post. The stair case should start from deck slab upto the lowest foundation level of Intake well.
d- Intake well shall be painted with two coats of approved quality and shade of cement paint/snocem over one coat of primer and MS railing. post shall be painted with approved quality and shade with two coats of anticorrosive paint over one coat of approved quality primer.
e- The well should have provision for pumps installation of required capacity and construction of pump foundation shall be as per drawing approved by department.
f- The well should be provided with internal and external electrification, water level indicator and lightening conductor.
g- Provision of ISMB (size as per design) as joist for gaintry girders to be embeded in vertical wall of pump house with 8 mm thick ms bearing plate at suitable location as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
h- pump house shall be provided with 01 no door of size 1.5m *2.1m and 03 nos windows of size 1.2m*1.2m. The door and windows shall be heavy size section and windows having outside M.S. grill and mosquito proof jali and welded on door & windows to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge of work.
i- Four numbers 200 mm dia inlet pipes in the RCC partition wall of the well and having arrangements of fixing sluice valve and supported and grouted properly
k- All necessary arrangements for dewatering during construction, diversion of river, safeguard against floods shall be done by the contractor at his own cost and risk. No extra payment shall be made for these appurtenant works.
l- The detailed structural design of the Intake well cum pump house showing all the details should be provided in three copies by the contractor within 30 days of acceptance of tender.
