Repair to roof treatment, CGI sheets, rolling shutter, velley gutters and certain repair works in Technical area at AF Station Tezpur under GE (AF) Tezpur

Taking down cement plaster, tarfelt from old concrete roof/ chajja and roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust from existing roof surfaces and M&L for rendering 15mm thick with CM (1:4) over cement slurry on concrete surface including WPC and roof surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed Note: (i) WPC will be measured and paid seperately

M & L providing water proofing treatment with APP based polymeric water proofing membrane 3 mm thick weight 4.00 kg/sqm (minimum) reinforced with polyster non woven fabric duly thermofused by torch flame laid over one coat of water based bituminous emulsion primer on the existing surface @ 0.40 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed. (Note : (i) The overlap shall not be less than 75 mm in longitudinal direction and 100mm in transverse direction (ii) Rate includes for safely removal of earthing strips running on roof slabs or any other fittings/fixtures and refixing the same in it's original postion over PCC Blocks 15cmx15cmx15cm after laying APP membrane all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Bitumastic gola, with 80/25 bitumen and coarse sand mixture 1:3 by weight, 8 cm x 8 cm at the junction of roofing to vertical surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. ( Note :- Bitumastic gola shall be laid throughout the junction of roof to vertical surface in curve form)

M&L for butyl & bitumen based flashing tapes/ strips 100 mm wide are cold applied self - adhesive tapes with one side bitumen adhesive protected by release film and other side is re-enforced aluminum foil to prevent leakages, fill cracks & joints for metal, cement asbestos, fiber, plastic, vinyl etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks exc 250 Ltrs not exc 500 Ltrs setting aside (for lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc and hoisting if required including cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc. and reconnecting and refixing in position complete all as specified and as directed.

-Ditto- as per item No.5, but exc 500 Ltrs not exc 1000 Ltrs

Refixing of 15mm bore old steel tubing and connections in new or old position (wall, ceiling,floors etc.) including Taking up or down 15mm dia steel tubing & connection complete all as specified & as directed.

Refixing of 20mm bore old steel tubing and connections in new or old position (wall, ceiling,floors etc.) including Taking up or down 20mm dia steel tubing & connection including cleaning for refixing complete all as specified & as directed.

S & F 20mm thick second class hard wood boarding, planed one side with butt joints and fixed complete in position as in eaves boards etc complete including dismantling timber boarding any description fixed in any position with nails complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L second class hardwood timber framed work clean sawn in scantling complete including dismantling of timber scantling 40 Sqcm and over in sec in any position as in framed work complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing new wood & wood based surfaces of any descriptions exc 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F 0.63 mm thick Plain, galvanised mild steel sheeting, in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275 including dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, any thickness, including nainital or similar pattern roof covering complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa using as in roof covering/cladding to wall and fixed with self tapping screws as specified including dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting any gauge, any thickness, including nainital or similar pattern roof covering and removing to store complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only Pre-painted galvalume steel sheet plain/corrugated including dismantling complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Earthing strip shall be detached safely before separation of galvalume sheet of sun-shelter and refixing at same location after fixing of galvalume sheet and cost of it will be included in the quoted rate.

S & F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified including dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting any gauge, any thickness, including nainital or similar pattern roof covering all as specified and directed.

S & F 0.71 mm thick Plain, Aluminium sheeting, Alloy 31000 H4 in valley gutter, ridges, hips, drip and straight flashing of hangers/sun shelters in Tech Area fixed with self tapping screw to prevent leakage and seepage through gutter sun shelter complete including dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting any guage and any thickness including nainital or similar pattern roof covering all as specified and as directed. (Note : Waterproofing sealant ideal for metal surfaces applied on joints/overlaps in valley gutters to prevent leakage/seepage)

M & L for rendering 15mm thick plaster in CM (1:4) mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finish even and smooth without using extra cement complete including taking down cement plaster, any description on brick or stone walls/ceiling etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item)

Supply only liquid integral water proofing compound

Material and labour for preparation of new platered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of exterior emulsion paint (weather coat) in camouflage pattern, in any shade or colour complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down steel rolling shutters pull and push or gear operated type of any size including hood cover, suspension shaft, guide channels etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Area of clear opening will be measured)

M & L for repair steel rolling shutters pull and push type or gear operated including cleaning the side of shutters, suspension shaft and guide channels and greasing all the moving parts of rolling shutters and straightening of bolts and nuts as required for smooth functioning of shutters and re-fixing the same including hood cover complete (any extra nuts and bolts required of appropiate size are to be supplied and fixed by contractor) all as specified and directed . (Note : Area of clear opening will be measured)

S & F in repair Ball bearing for rolling shutter of any size all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repair Spring of size as per existing for rolling shutter of any size all as specified and as directed

S& F MS steel work in Square / Rectangular / Tubular hollow trusses and hollow posts including special shaped washers etc., complete using but welded tubes confirming to IS 1161- 1979 graded St 240 complete including dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Framed work such as in grills with end of bars shouldered and / or rivetted, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, railings, brackets etc of Fe-410 Gd E-250 complete including dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F welded steel wire fabric not exc 4 Kg/Sqm welded to steel members including dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repair 1mm thick Mild Steel, plain black sheet in platforms of steel towers, wall cladding, steel gates and similar work cut to size, holes punched including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles etc all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide, zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 12 mm thick mineral fibre ceiling board made of high quality plaster boards, fire proof, flame proof, flame retardant, sound insulation, heat resistant, front of the board PVC film laminated, back of the board is laminated with alumina foil and wrapped with PVC tape on all four side makes in moisture proof complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for Post Constructional Anti-termite Treatment along the external wall below concrete or masonary apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc in apron all as specified and as directed

M & L for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for Post Constructional Anti-termite Treatment at Points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litre/hole by drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same all as specified and as directed.

Cutting out damaged portion edges of chajjas, fins, facias, dropwalls, parapets and similar locations incl. repair the reinforcing bar as per site requirement and repair the same by providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 over concrete to concrete bonding chemical as per site requirement and finished the same by 10 mm thick plastering in CM (1:4) and applying two coats of exterior emulsion paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed. ( Note : Girth of the work will be considered for measurement purpose and cost of bonding chemical shall be included in quoted rate. )

M & L for making of operational motorised or manually operarted hanger door of approx area 40 sqm to 72 sqm per leaf, mounted on wheel track by cleaning the track and removal of all dust and disposed off 50 m distance incl. necessary welding if required to maintain the alignment of wheels with track including material required if any like angle, Tee, MS flats, hollow section etc, including painting to new items to match with existing, oiling/ greasing completely all as per site requirement and making operational all as specified and as directed. ( Note :- Contractor shall be arranged Necessary Scaffolding (if required) to access the height of hanger door. and cost of scaffolding shall be included in Quoted rate)

S & F in repair Turbo ventilator 600 mm diameter having vortex blade made up of industrial grade aluminium; 42 vents of 0.5 mm thick. The turbine shaft and the bracings shall be of stainless steel-304 grade. It shall have double shielded deep groove well balance ball bearing. At 6 Km/hr wind velocity, the turbo ventilator shall give the output of 2300 Cum/hr (+/- 10%) including complete all as specified and as directed. ( Note :- Contractor shall arrange to access roof shed for fixing turbo ventilator and the cost of it shall be included in quoted rate.)
