Soil Investigation Mobilisation of Boring Equipments and skilled labourers to site including charges for shifting the rig and demobilisation of the same after completion of job.
Boring through all types of soil to a depth of 75 Mtrs(2 Nos bore holes in Fort Kochi) below the ground level or up to strate with SPT N value 50 whichever is earlies and collecting samples and conductiing necesary field tests.
Conductiing all necessary laboratary tests on samples and submission of reports with suggestion on type of suitable foundation system for each location. Note :- Soil investigation report shall be as per NBC, IS- 1982,2131,2132,1888,2720,1904,6403,8009,1498,4968 and SP-36 in general containing the following in particulars :- (a) Recommended gross and net SBC at different depths of foundation at every 0.50m interval including its calculation. (b) Depth of wates table (maximum and minimum). (c) Depth of expansive soil and its properties including swelling pressure. (d) Recommendation for type foundation. (e) Incase pile foundatiuon is recommended capacity of piles of various size and depth should be indicated, The capacity should be given separately for compressivetensile and lateral loads. (f) Recommendation for filling under and filling under protection including plinth protection. (g) Chemicla analysis of soil and recommended and type of cement to be used for RCC foundation. (h) Details of soil profile and bore logs. (j) Soil investigation report should contain a site plan indicating bore hole locations number wise with reference to proposed structures. RLs of boe hold locations should be indicated.
