Repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, paths, etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm thick in depth, but making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cu m of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt or with mechanical air compressor etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm (using paving bitumen VG 10 grade) of road surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to requireds camber and gradient, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG-10 Grade) of any penetration as binder content of 4% by weight of total mix, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
M&L preparation of new/ old surface and applying reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (white or golden yellow) of minimum 2.5 mm thick (confirming to BIS-3262). Single coat as in centre line and edge line road marking of 100mm width using HOT Mark by indigenous modern propelled road making machine as directed including all ingredient such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter filler as specified in table 803.4 of MORTH specification, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be as specified in (intermix) type-l, MOST/ BS 6088A and road marking shall done as per provision contained in IRC-35-1997, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
