8378 PROVISION OF GI SHEET ROOFING AND FALSE CEILING IN ANUBHUTI AT TECHNICAL AREA UNDER AGE (I) RnD NSTL, VISAKHAPATNAM.

S&F exposed grid ceiling comprises of pre-coated steel angle of size 24 x 24 mm, fixed to the brick wall/partition at the perimeter of the ceiling by nylon sleeves and wood screws at 450mm c/c. Main "T" with pre-coated steel at the bottom, and 'H' notches at 300 mm c/c, interlocking notches at both ends, of size 24 x 38mm is suspended from the soffit at 1200mm c/c with the help of metal rawl plug, soffit cleat and a level clip with 4 mm dia. G.I. wire. Cross "T" of size 24 x 38mm with bottom pre-coated steel and 'H' notch in the centre and interlocking notches at both the ends, is to be inserted fixed to the Main "T" at 600 mm c/c to form a grid of 600x1200 mm. Another cross 'T' of size 24 x 38 x 600 mm with inter locking notches at both ends is inserted fixed to the centre notch of above cross 'T' to form a grid of size 600 x 600 mm. Calcium Silicate Boards cut to size 595 x 595 mm are then laid on to the grid accordingly complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

S & F for structural steel work in Roof trusses (framed) trussed purlins crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc, conforming to Fe 410-W (Gde E-250 Quality -A) complete all as specified

S & F Framed brackets of angles or less with web and flanges out to shape drille and countersunk for screws, including bending and welding angles, as necessaery gusset plates etx MS falts supporting eves gutter pipes etc not exec 10 kg each brackets conforming to Fe 410-0 or Fe 319-0 (Brackets ovr 10 kg each to be measured under Structural Steal)

M& L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel/ iron surfaces of any descrtiption exceeding 10 cmin width or grith and applying two coats of Anti corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed

S & F pre painted galvalume aluminium zink coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mps as in roof covering / cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws and washers as specified
