Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the technical specification clause 302 and 1603.1 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus un-useful material to acquired width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/or labour if required. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. A recovery of useful stone for 523.26 cum (five hundred twenty three decimal two six ) cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre amounting Rs 1,56,978/ ( one lac fifty six thousand nine hundred seventy eight) only shall be effected on pro-rata basis in each running bill from this item. The rates excluding of Goods Services Tax but including Labour cess, other levies/taxes , duties /royalities, cess, Toll taxes of local bodies and authorities that the contractor will have to pay for the performance of this contract.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 including entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals and per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rates excluding of Goods Services Tax but including Labour cess, other levies/taxes , duties /royalities, cess, Toll taxes of local bodies and authorities that the contractor will have to pay for the performance of this contract.

Construction of sub grade and earthen shoulder with approved material obtained from borrow pits and laid in layers of suitable thickness not exceeding 200mm ( two hundred millimetres) and compacted with 80-100 KN (Eighty to one hundred Kilonewton). static/ vibratory road roller to meet the requirements of table 300.1 and 300.2 of MORD specifications 2014 clause 303 to lines, grades, level and cross sections as per drawings or directions of the Engineer-in-charge including preparation of foundation for embankment in all kinds and classification of soils including saturated soil and dewatering/ bailing out of water wherever required including handling of materials for construction of embankment within all leads and lifts. The rate shall include carriage of machineries, equipment, tools and materials and safety measures, payment of all taxes and other incidentals necessary to complete the work in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals and per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rates excluding of Goods Services Tax but including Labour cess, other levies/taxes , duties /royalities, cess, Toll taxes of local bodies and authorities that the contractor will have to pay for the performance of this contract.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of waterincluding entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals and per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rates excluding of Goods Services Tax but including Labour cess, other levies/taxes , duties /royalities, cess, Toll taxes of local bodies and authorities that the contractor will have to pay for the performance of this contract.

Providing and Laying Cement Concrete 1:4:8 ( one cement : four coarse sand : eight graded stone aggregate 40mm( forty millimetre nominal size) aggregate nominal size and curing complete including the cost of form work for plain/reinforced concrete in retaining walls, breast walls as per drawing and technical specification clauses 800 & 1604. entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals and per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm ( four millimetrre ) dia G.I. wire ( Galvanized iron wire) confirming to IS:280 (IS : two hundred eighty ) and IS : 4826 (IS : four thousand eight hundred twenty Six) in 100mmx100mm ( hundred millimetres into hundred millimetres) mesh ( Woven diagonally ) including 10% ( ten percent ) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25kg ( twenty five kilogramme) each and stone spalls as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification 2014 Clause 1301 and 1604 as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals and per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm (three milimetre) thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm (seventy centimetre) above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five milimetre) spaced 2 m (two metre) centre to centre, 1.8 m high (one point eight metre), 1.1 m (one point one metre) below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 (IS: one thousand three hundred sixty seven) and IS:1364 (IS: one thousand three hundred sixty four), metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm (one hundred fifty into seventy five into five milimetre), 330 mm (three hundred milimetre) long complete as as per MORTH Technical specification Clause 810. The rate shall include carriage of machineries, equipment, tolls and materials and safety measures, payment of all taxes and other incidentals necessary to complete the work in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals and per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
