Supply of Structural Steel sections like MS plates of thickness 8 mm, 10 mm, 14 mm, 16 mm and 22 mm conforming to IS 2062 Gr B. including cost of material, conveyance charges, wastage of materials in making sections of required size etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Supply of Structural Steel sections like MS Tees, Angles, Joists, ISMBs etc.confirming to IS 2062 Gr A/B including cost of material, conveyance, wastage of materials in making sections of required size etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge

Supply of High Tensile MS Bolts of 22 mm dia. of required length including cost of material, conveyance charges etc, complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Cutting and removing the corroded portion of the girders and trunnion arm by locking the gate and arresting the trunnion arm, skin plate and other sections as per approved specifications, drawings, grinding the surface and stacking the removed materials at locations within 1 km from the dam site as directed by the Engineer in Charge, including cost of labour, machinery, conveyance, incidental and handling charges etc. complete.

Providing scaffold system using MS tubes joined with cup & lock/coupler system for providing working platform at the upstream and downstream side of the radial gates for carrying out the cutting, fabrication, erection of steel sections, sand blasting, painting, facilitating inspections by the departmental officers etc. in compliance with the safety standards as per IS 3696 and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the structure etc wherever required as per directions of Engineer- in Charge. The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all materials. labour, handling charges etc. complete.

Fabrication and erection of structural steel members in Radial gates and Trunnion arm by cutting, grinding and joining of MS items by welding with approved welding rods as per specifications, assembling and aligning as per drawings and as per the direction of Engineer charge. The rate shall be inclusive of the cost of labour, machinery, conveyance charges, all leads and lifts, cost of welding rods and other consumables, incidental, handling charges, etc. complete but excluding cost of material already supplied. Dye penetration test shall be carried out for all full length fillet welds. Ultrasonic test for 100 % of butt weld joints shall be carried out in load bearing members. Any weld found to be defective shall be gouged out and re-welded. Upon completion of strengthening works, semi-circular drain holes of 20-25mm diameter shall be provided in webs or stiffeners wherever there is tendency for water accumulation or existing holes shall be reamed to 20-25mm diameter where drainage is getting impeded.

Cleaning all the exposed surface of gate and embedded parts by a jet of sand/ grit/copper slag, propelled by a blast of compressed air and painting the surface with two coats of epoxy coal tar black paint with a minimum film thickness of 150+/-5 microns per each coat after applying two coats of priming coat applied with zinc primer containing not less than 85% of zinc on dry film thickness of 70+/-5 microns, so that the total film thickness of all coats including priming coat at any rate is not less than 350 microns over the grit blasted and cleaned surface to class A standard of IS14177 including cost of materials, labour charges, cost of testing all painting materials incidental charges, hire charges of tools and plants etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Carrying out thickness measurement of the skin plate of Radial gate using Ultrasonic method as per specification and submitting reports, as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The test shall be conducted in the curved length of 5000mm starting from bottom of the gate. At least 5 Nos of readings shall be taken in a grid of 50cm x 50cm ( 4 Nos at corners and 1 No at centre of grid). The rate shall be inclusive of charges for all the instruments, labour, conveyance and handling charges, conducting tests, submitting reports etc complete.
