Milling on Bituminous Surface: Dismantling of existing damaged Bitumen surface by cold Milling Machine up to any depth and hauling the milled material up to any lead and stacking at nearest recycling Plant site. (HSR 17.43.2)

Demolishing dry brick on end edging pitching in floors, drains etc. including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within any lead. (HSR 17.75)

Excavation for roadwork in soil by mechanical means including cutting, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections including breaking of clods and disposal within ROW as per techncial clause 301 of MORT&H specifications.

Compaction of & preparation of sub grade including loosening, levelling of earth 225 mm thick top layer, rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level, camber, watering, rolling with road roller, compacting the bed to achieve minimum dry density as given in the Table 3000-2 as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications (HSR 17.5.3)

Providing, laying 150mm WBM (G-I) 63 mm to 45 mm (75 mm each layer) , spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.

Providing, laying 300mm WBM (G-II) 53 mm to 22.4 mm (75 mm each layer) , spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, earth available from excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition.

Providing and Laying 80 mm thick ISI marked Interlocking Paver Blocks conforming to IS 15658:2006/IRC SP 63: 2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M 40 over the bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. (HSR 17.69.2)

Providing and laying of cement concrete blocks of size 0.450 m x 0.300 m x 0.15 m of cement concrete (C.C) M30 grade and spreading 25 mm thick sand underneath filling joints with sand on existing W.B.M. base as per technical specification clause 1503 (17.66.1). FOR Edeging

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. i) Material obtained on scarification of bitumen layer and granular layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The old material will be issued for use in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) as per approval of employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency or reserve price whichever is high. The reserve price is as under:- Existing Bituminous Surface @ 1888/- per Cum

Good bricks @ Rs. 5/- each

Brick bats @ Rs. 400 /- cum Note:- i) In case of any difference in the unit & Nomenclature of any of the HSR itms depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and Nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. Ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non-schedule items as per practice in this department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
