Within 10 (Ten) days of receipt of Letter of Acceptance, the successful Bidder
shall furnish to the Employer an irrevocable and unconditional guarantee from a
Bank in the form set forth in Section 8 (the “Performance Security”) for an
Amount equal to 5% (five percent) of its Contract Price. In case of bids
mentioned below, the successful Bidder, along with the Performance Security,
If the Contract Price offered by the Selected Bidder is lower than 10% but upto
20% of the Estimated Project Cost, then the Additional Performance Security
shall be calculated @ 20% of the difference in the (i) Estimated Project Cost (as
mentioned in Bid Document) - Minus 10% of the Estimated Project Cost and (ii)
8 Contract Price offered by the selected Bidder.
If the Contract Price offered by the Selected Bidder is lower than 20% of the
Estimated Project Cost, then the Additional Performance Security shall be
calculated @ 30% of the difference in the (i) Estimated Project Cost (as
mentioned in Bid Document) - Minus 10% of the Estimated Project Cost and (ii)
Contract Price offered by the selected Bidder.
This Additional Performance Security shall be treated as part of the
Performance Security.
The Performance Security shall be valid beyond 60(sixty) days of the
Defects Liability Period and the Additional Performance Security shall be
valid beyond 28 (twenty-eight) days of Project Completion Date.
10 GST Nagarpalika will pay GST on Contract Amount.
Nagarpalika will deploy Third Party Inspection agency for this work. Or,
Contractor will deploy Third Party Inspection Agency who having
experience of TPI work on Construction Project of any Government
Sector for this work.
The charges of Third Party Inspection will be bare by Contractors. TPI
Certificate Required for Each Bill.

Notice Inviting Tender on Pages 7 may be read as modified below:
NOTICE INVITING TENDERS
1. Tenders are invited on behalf of Chief Officer of Nagarpalika Kalol for work as per page number one of
this Booklet. The work is estimated to cost of Rs. 30000000=00 this estimate however, is given as a

5. Copies of other drawings and documents pertaining to tender and signed for the purpose of identification
by the Accepting Officer or his accredited representative will be open for inspection by tenderers at the
following offices during working hours between the dates mentioned in clause 4 above.
6. Tenderers are advised to visit the site sufficiently in advance of the date fixed for submission of the
tender. A tenderer shall be deemed to have full knowledge of all the relevant documents samples, site
etc; whether he inspects them or not.
7. Submission of a tender by a tenderer implies that he has read this notice and all other contract
documents and has made himself aware of the scope and specification of the work to be done and of
conditions and rates at which stores, tools and plant etc. will be issued to him, by Nagarpalika and local
conditions and other factors bearing on the execution of the works.
8. The bidder should quote his bid premium or rebate at the end of Schedule B. If he do not wish to quote
premium or rebate, he should indicate “at par” in the blank space preceding “% above/below” in
Schedule B. Thereafter he should work out and indicate the offered bid amount both in words and figures
9. All rates shall be quoted on the tender form.
10. The tender for the works shall not be witnessed by a contractor or contractors who himself / themselves
has/have tendered or who may and has/have tendered for the same works. Failure to observe this
condition shall render the tender of the contractor tendering, as well as of those witnessing the tender,
liable to rejection.
11. The Offered bids will be opened as per Milestone Date in the presence of bidders who may choose to
remain present in the office of the Bid opening Authority Specified in bid documents.
12. A fixed deposit receipt of Rs.300000=00 pledged in the name of Chief Officer, Kalol Nagarpalika, Kalol
from any Nationalized Bank, reputed Scheduled Bank except co-operative bank having a branch at Kalol
and valid up to 28 days from the date of closure of the bid validity period of 120 days.
13. A tenderer shall submit the tender which satisfies each and every condition laid down in this notice and
tender documents, failing which the tender will be liable to be rejected.
14. The Chief Officer of the Kalol Nagarpalika does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender or to give
any reasons for the decision.
15. This notice of tender shall form part of the contract documents.

QUALIFICATIONS OF TENDERERS

Tenderer shall be required to submit the enlisted documents Online along with Scan Copy of EMD and tender
fees. If documents are insufficient or it does not match the required criteria mentioned below, then the Price
Bid of the tenderer shall not be opened. Tenderer shall be required to submit the original hard copy of EMD,
Tender fees and all documents require for Pre-Qualification in Specified Time.
Mainly tenderer shall fulfil following Criteria for pre-qualification,
(a) Valid Solvency certificate of 20% Of Tender Amount from bankers of schedule bank / nationalized
bank issued on or after 1st January-2026 must be enclosed
(b) Valid Registration in Class – “B” or more with the Gujarat State Govt. or PWD / CPWD department

Two work of constructing Similar Nature Yearly Rate work amounting to minimum Rs. 50% of the

work. We have inspected and evaluated the existing site with
reference to its location, plot size conditions, sub soil water table,
surface water table etc. we have submitted this offer after satisfying
ourselves about the local conditions local cost etc.
We have quoted our rate for tender item including level survey
work, site clearing & dewatering. We will not claim any extra items like
service restoration (Telephone cable, Network cable, Electrical cable,
Storm water pipe line, Water supply pipe line, Sewerage pipe line etc.)

action for not submitting F.D.R. & D.D. in original to Chief Officer by bidder shall be initiated.
