Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 20mm depth in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Note: - i). The quantity of milled bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item.

Dismantling of road including, soiling and wearing coat, GSB, brick soiling, screening and stacking of old serviceable material, complete in all respect. (N.S) Note: Dismantling upto 225 mm depth .

Dismantling Brick Work, Tile Masonry or Tile Lining and Tile Terracing (i) dry brick work {HSR 8.5 (i)}

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth, Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 metres, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 metre including breaking of clods (HSR 6.2 (b) and recompact the same including laying dressing, watering & rolling as per HSR 6.2 g-I, g-II and g-v.

Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders in raising and reconstruction portion with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of raised road will be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 11880 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 11880 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 11880 cum, then only 11880 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at page ___ of DNIT. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Providing and laying 100/150mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading –VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer in writing.

Providing & laying 75/150mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1. Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer in writing.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade-I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Pdg & laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in 100-120 TPH BATCH type hot mix plant, with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P., transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with appropriate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen's 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula). Note: - 1. The milled material to be used in BM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. 2. If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. 3. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing and Laying 50 mm thick Compacted bituminous macadam in (BM) in one layer by 100-120 TPH BATCH type hot mix plant and paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade as per clause No. 504 table No. 500-4 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 using minimum 3.4 % bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required on this account is more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. (5th revision) 2013 using bitumen VG-30 (minimum Bitumen's 4.50% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula ) using 100-120 TPH Batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P, appropriate rollers and with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade. The milled material to be used in DBM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. Note: - If bitumen required more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. 3). Where there is DBM on existing black top , cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Providing and laying 30 mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch Type Hot Mix Plant with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.4% (minimum) and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher having sufficient screed width so that the BC in full width of the carriage way is laid in single opration without any longititutinal joint with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred roller (PTR) of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Vth revision)-2013 Clause No. 507 complete in all respect. If bitumen required is more than 5.4% as per job mix including waste plastic material no extra payment will be made, Extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat @ 1.46 Kg. per Sqm.. with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS).

Providing and marking centre line / side line 2.5 mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 10cms wide complete in all respects as furnishing all labour, materials, tools, equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road & bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture, color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/ Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo.The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer – in – charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirements of the specifications. The reflectorzing Glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause – 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause – 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS : 3262 (Part – 3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Manufacturing, supplying and laying of precast cement concrete rectangular block (0.45 M x 0.30 M x 0.15 M ) M-30 grade using minimum cement concrete 320 Kg/ per cum with digital batching plant duly compacted with table vibration including setting in position on end edging of interlocking paver blocks on both sides.

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M)

Providing & fixing retro reflective hazard marker confirming to IRC79: 1981 of size 900 x 300 mm with back support of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm and post of 50 x 50 x 5 mm, 1500 mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro-prismatic retro reflective sheet confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite. Material sheet as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides. (of reputed make such as Array Dennison/3M)

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note:- Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- Bituminous material @ Rs. 1371.40/- per cum

Good bricks @ Rs. 4.50/- Each

Brick bats @ Rs. 450/- per cum

Stone Metal @ Rs. 693/- per cum Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.

However, the total amount of L-1 will be not be increased from the total amount quoted by the contractor and rebate to that extent shall have to be given by the contractor Further the payment for routine maintenance to the contractor shall be regulated based on his performance of maintenance activities as per chapter eleven of rural road in manual (IRC-SP-20-2002)
