M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer paving bitumen with viscosity grade VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed carpet, 30 mm consolidated thickness, with 0.40 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 kg of binder VG-30, laid and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and sealed with premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, VG-10 applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed. Note :(i) Aggregates for Bituminous works shall confirm to clause No 20.B.2.5 of SSR 2009 Part- I (ii) Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the content specified under these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 45/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula. (iii) Design Mix for bituminous macadam shall be carried out through an authorised testing lab and the cost of testing shall be included in quoted rate.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing Fe 410 -W (GdeE- 250) quality A complete all as specified and directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Overhead informatory road signage and boards, made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTMD-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge.(Structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately. Rectangular area of the sheet only shall be measured for payment) complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and direceted.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashler facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8, type D2 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks type C1 1:3:6 (20 mm graded aggregate) exc 10 cm width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B0 (using 12.5mm graded aggregate) in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description, thickness on brick, stone, concrete surfaces including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, removal of rubbish and cleaning, etc complete as directed and specified.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces with cement mortar 1:4 finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly or previously untreated surfaces of brick, stone, concrete, asbestos cement or plaster surfaces any description, over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.
