REPAIRS AND RESURFACING OF ROAD AND ROAD FURNITURE AT NAVAL PARK,INS VIRBAHU, INS SATAVAHANA AND GE OFFICE PREMISES AREA UNDER AGE B/R-I OF GE (NB) VISAKHAPATNAM

M & L for repairs to Pot Holes exceeding 30 mm depth and not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, rolled and consolidated with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq.m, blinded with 0.09 cu.m of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again rolled and consolidated with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M & L for Premixed Bituminous Macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber [consolidate thickness 75mm or less] using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 4% by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed

S & F Road Stud, Two way reflective of size 100mm X 100mm X 20 mm [Approximately], PVC body with retro reflective panel of Amber, Red or White colour complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Solar Road Studs [Bi-Directional] made of Aluminium Die cast matt finish of size 125 X 125 X 25mm [Approximately], working on High Efficiency Mono-Crystalline Solar Panel 2.4 V / 0.3 Watt, One Ni-Mh or NI-cd Rechargeable Battery [1.2V / 1600 MA] with Six Super Bright LEDs with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd [Millicandela], with a minimum Operating time of 3-4 consecutive days with full charge, viewing distance / visibility not less than 800m with 2 Hz Flash Rate, Self operated from Dusk to Dawn, anti twist ribs on the bottom anchor / shank with high intensity reflective grade polymer sticker and conforming to IS - 12063, of Colour yellow or red or blue or green or white as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F retro reflective Cautionary /warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape having each side of 900 mm with support length of 3650 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet,face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S.message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Median Marker / Guard Rail Reflectors and conforming to IRC - 67 with metal base of size 114 X 117 mm with highly reflective reflectors made of PMMA Material with ABS Round Body fixed with Bolts, Nuts and Epoxy Glue on the side of crash barrier for perfectly delineating the road direction for night driving complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Speed Bumps / Speed Breakers conforming to IRC - 67 of size 500 X 365 mm, 50 mm high the material shall be Black/Yellow coloured and UV stabilised to keep perpetually colorful, Studded with reflectors on either side for clear visibility during night hours, fixed with nails supplied with the Bumps, grouting the holes with appropriate epoxy adhesive on the road surface and Bumps complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Poly Carbonate Convex Mirror outdoor type 1000mm dia made out of fibre along with bracket, Pole mounted and fixed to 80mm bore Medium Grade MS Pipe of required length complete and embedded in PCC 1:3:6, Type C1, including necessary earth work required for post holes complete all as specified.

S & F Cuationary/Warning/Speed limit sign board,double sided having rectangular shape of size 900mmx600mm, frame made of Stainless steel round hollow section of 40mm dia and internal board made out of 2mm thick aluminium sheet bonded with white retro reflective sheeting of Engineering Grade with watermark of the manufacturer's on the surfaces at regular intervals visible with naked eye assuring the quality of Engineering Grade having presure sensitive / heat activated adhesive, Engineering Grade retro reflective blue coloured border, black coloured cut out symbols of non reflective sheeting having pressure sensitive adhesive including and two nos stainless steel stud of length 3.750 mtrs, welded together to form box or tee, having black and white bands of 25cm width and fixing the board in and including PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 concrete block of size 60x60x75cm including necessary earth work and excavation complete all as specified and directed.
