Excavation in soil in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper, blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering wherever required setting out to the required line grades, side slopes trimming bottom and level as shown on the drawings as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to technical specifications clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 sorting out useful/ unuseful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lift and transportation of useful materials for filling in road ways, embankments for grades improvements and levelling to the required grade and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of roads or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and all labour, machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by all means ( if required). Recovery of useful stone of 15194.30 cum. @ 300/- per cum. amounting to Rs. 4558290/- only shall be done on prorata basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect including all leads and lift of materials or as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.
Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:6:12 (one cement: six sand: twelve graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:4:8 (one cement: four sand: eight graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) with 15%( fifteen percent) plum and curing complete including cost of from work in retaining walls / breast walls the size of plums shall usually be 150mm to 300mm (one hundred fifty to three hundred millimetre) as per PWD technical specifications including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Coursed rubble stone masonary (First sort) in cement mortar 1:5 (one cement : five sand) for sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 & 1206 including curing and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Coursed rubble stone masonary (second sort) in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement : six sand) for sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 & 1206 including curing and carriage of materials in all leads and lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of dry rubble masonry for retaining walls, breast walls, revetment walls and parapets etcetera for sub structure and super structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 704.6 & 1604 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing weepholes in brick masonry/ stone masonry / plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia.(one hundred millimetre diameter) PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1V:20H (one vertical is to twenty horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 614, 709, 1206.6 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specifications 1206.3 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, and laying reinforced cement concrete 900mm diameter (Nine hundred millimetre) pipe NP3 as per design for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement: two sand) but excluding excavations, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications for Rural roads clause 1101 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying flooring with rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:5 (one cement: five sand) laid over cement concrete bedding (cement concrete bedding to be measured and paid for seperately) curing complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1303 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supplying, fitting, placing and binding HYSD bar reinforcement in superstructure complete including cost of binding wire as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 1001 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete of mix design to have characteristic strength M-25 (twenty five) grade including form work and curing complete in super structure but excluding the cost of steel reinforcent and binding wire as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 1401.4 including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of parapets with mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) with 15%( fifteen per cent) plum and curing complete, the size of plums shall usually be 150mm to 300mm (one hundred fifty to three hundred millimetre) and curing complete including cost of earth work in all kinds of soil and cost of from work with steel plates complete as per drawing and HPPWD technical specification including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm (four millimetre) diametre G.I. wire conforming to IS: 280 and IS: 4826 in 100mm x 100mm (one hundred millimetre into one hundred millimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% (ten percent) extra for laps and joints laid with stones boulders weighing not less than 25 Kg. (twenty five kilogram) each as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1301 complete including carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
