REPAIR TO FENCING, GATES AND CONNECTED WORK

Taking down cement plaster of any description and thickness on brick or stone walls etc and including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor and pavings n.exc 15 cm thickness (below or above GL) and removal all rubbish material outside of MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work/stone boulder masonry, built in CM and including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick on stone masonry surfaces or other than fair faces of brick work in cement mortar 1:4 and surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in cement mortar 1:4 and surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating & including use and waste of formwork (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains and benching & including finishing the top of benching even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick work with pulverized fuel ash-lime bricks (Fly ash bricks - non modular size), straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in CM 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L walling of random rubble, uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 and including finishing the joint, flush as the work proceeds complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for walling of random rubble, except stone i.e. using old serviceable stone obtained from demolition under serial item No. 3.00 (here-in-before), uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 and including finishing the joint, flush as the work proceeds complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing new steel surfaces exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of cement based paint on newly plastered surfaces of walls over and including a coat of suitable cement primer & including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old plastered or unplastered old decorated surfaces of walls / chajjas and applying one coat of cement base paint over & including a coat of primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section and including taking out concrete, brick work, masonry, etc. embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified & directed.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh, any type complete all as specified & directed.

S & F for mild steel work of angle iron or flat iron etc for hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, welding etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only for mild steel round bars, 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape and provided as support to chain link fencing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing of any size /type complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Weight of chain link fencing shall be ascertained through board of the Officers as ordered by GE.

Fixing only chain link fencing & including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. & including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Supply only Chain link and line wire shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this BOQ.

S & F of galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. (each line of wire to be measured) & including dismantling of old wire fencing complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt exceeding 5cm but not exceeding 10cm long and dia of neck exceeding 10mm but not exceeding 15mm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for erecting of 610 mm dia punched tape concertina coil / Razor wire concertina coil having 50 Nos spiral turns, (weight shall not be less than 9.0 Kg) and one coil (i.e 50 spiral shall not be stretched more than 6.0m), tied with GI staples and GI clips to retain in horizontal position & including necessary bolting or tied to GI birbed wire or angle iron etc., and fixed in angle iron brackets on compound wall with and including using necessary scaffolding along the length of wall and including dismantling of old unserviceable existing concertina coil complete all as specified and directed.

REPAIR TO CHAJJA, BEAMS, ROOF SLAB ETC

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) such as roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, stair cases, landing, chhajjas and other similar works and removing rubbish from premises, complete all as specified and directed.

Formwork (fair finished surfaces) Chhajja, chullah hoods, weather shades, corbels, water troughs and similar items including edges, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for RCC 1:1.5:3 type A-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), as in chhajjas, facias etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.

~Ditto~ as per serial item No 28.00 (here-in-before) but 5 to 10 mm dia mild steel TMT bars as in stirrups, spacers and binders etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling loose concrete cover of RCC columns, beams and the like, area exc 1.50 Sqm each, roughening and cleaning of concrete surfaces with steel wire brushes, washed with water and allowed to dry including dusting of steel reinforcement, providing welded mild steel wire fabric of mesh size 75 x 75 mm and 2 mm nominal dia of wire as reinforcement to concrete surfaces, applying adhesive over steel mesh and old concrete and providing 12 mm thick CM using ordinary portland cement 53 grade and 2 parts of sand mixed with admixture at the rate as per manufacturer's instructions with a pressure of 2 to 2.5 Kg/Sqcm by guniting machine including necessary padding, steel scaffolding and shuttering for working platform/formwork etc, complete all as specified and directed.

~Ditto~ as per item 30.00 (here-in-before) but in patch work of area not exceeding 1.50 Sqm each, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling loose concrete cover from ceiling of RCC chajja, slabs and the like, area exc 2.50 Sqm each, roughening and cleaning of concrete surfaces with steel wire brushes, washed with water and allowed to dry including dusting of steel reinforcement, providing welded mild steel wire fabric of mesh size 75 x 75 mm and 2 mm nominal dia of wire as reinforcement to concrete surfaces, applying adhesive over steel mesh and old concrete and providing 12 mm thick CM using ordinary portland cement 53 grade and 2 parts of sand mixed with admixture at the rate as per manufacturer's instructions with a pressure of 2 to 2.5 Kg/Sqcm by guniting machine including necessary padding, steel scaffolding and shuttering for working platform/formwork etc, complete all as specified and directed.

~Ditto~ as per item 32.00 (here-in-before) but in patch work of area not exceeding 2.50 Sqm each, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L applying three coats of white wash after preparation of newly plastered surfaces of ceilings, complete all as specified and directed.
