Hiring of Luxury taxi(Maxi cab-Non Air-conditioned, Diesel/LPG/CNG) to be used as inspection vehicle of the Senior Superintending Engineer, PWD Central Electrical Circle, PWD on Monthly Hiring basis.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The vehicle is to be considered with valid tax clearance certificate, registration of car, fitness document, pollution certificates, insurance coverage etc. and the driver must have valid driving license from competent authority. 2. The rate should be inclusive of all expenditures including repair/maintenance, all road taxes as well as wages of driver, and cost of all lubricants, except Petrol/Diesel and Engine Oil. 3. The driver will have to be engaged by the vehicle owner. 4. The vehicle must ply minimum average mileage (Km / hours) in plain and Hill area as prescribed in notification No.3564-WT/3M-81/98 of Transport Department, Govt of WB(presently fuel 12 Km/Ltr and Mobil oil @ 5Ltrs. For 2500Km) Petrol / Diesel will be supplied by the owner of the vehicle and cost of fuel will be paid latest rate of I.O.C in the district of Murshidabad & Nadia. Minimum tank balance on the last of each day will be minimum 5 (Five) liters. 5. Logbook is to be maintained for the daily journeys and will be signed by the inspecting officer. 6. In the event of any repair or break down of the vehicle which requires withdrawal of the vehicle from duty, the owner will have to substitute of a car at his own expenses with prior information. 7. The vehicle with driver must be available round the clock to the Concerned controlling officer .8. The agreement may be terminated after giving one-month notice in writing on either side. If the owner fails to provide the car or substitute car for two successive days, it will be the option of the accepting authority to rescind the agreement with immediate effect without giving any further notice.

9. The acceptance of the quotation will rest wholly with the Executive Engineer ,PWD, Murshidabad Electrical Division. 10. Valid Road-Tax, Blue Book, Insurance Certificate, Carriage Contract Permit, Driving License of Driver and Pollution Certificate should be kept in the custody of the Driver of the Vehicle. 11. The owner has to arrange Diesel, Petrol and Engine Oil at his own cost. The fuel bill should have to submit to the office simultaneously at the time of submission hire charges bill. 12. The car shall have to be made available at any hour of days and nights whenever asked for, irrespective of Saturday, Sunday and other holiday, if required for duties. 13. The usual distance from garage to reporting place up to maximum 5(five) K.M will be allowed on either way. 14. Custody of car shall remain with the owners whether on duty or not on duty. 15. Repair of whatever in nature will be the responsibility of the owner. If the department has to undertake any repair during and emergency, the cost will be recovered from the owner by deduction the amount from the bill. 16. The period of contract will be effective for 1 (one) year. 17. Vehicle should have commercial /Deluxe Taxi number & in absence of the same it is mandatory to have the same by two (2) month from date of work order. 18. Vehicle cannot be used for any private purpose by the owner. 19. The owner of the vehicle has to furnish a declaration that he would abide by the terms and conditions as enunciated in Notice Inviting Quotation.

20. Per day hiring rate above Luxury taxi for monthly hiring should be equal or below Rs.490.00 as par Transport Dept. Notification(vide point 4 above) for 10(ten) hours per day. 21. Overtime (O.T.) charge @ Rs. 20/ per hour admissible beyond schedule duty hour (i.e. 10 hours).
