Note for All items of this BOQ : SITE FOR EXECUTION OF WORK :- Tenderer shall note that work shall be executed at Runway / taxi track / Tarmac & similar location. Site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and non operational days or when Runway will be made available by GE / Engineer-In-charge after consultation with users, due to constant operational commitment at Jamnagar station. The contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordingly. No claim whatsoever, for not giving the entire site, on award of work and giving the site gradually will be entertained. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates

M&L for complete removal of old paint from concrete pavement / black bituminous pavement surfaces etc over 10 cm width or girth by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moules, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots, and applying two coats (Single pack), Air drying, Acrylic Water based Road Marking Paint of any tint and any colour as approved in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc, thickness of each coat not less than 25 micron, complete all as specified and directed. Make: APCOTRAK IS manufactured by Asian Paints or equivalent of make Jenson & Nicholson paints Pvt Ltd / Nerolac.

M & L for complete removal of existing treatment of old surface of external surfaces of walls including brooming down / steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, mould, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots and cleaning with water on wall and preparation of surfaces by applying a coat of thin layer of wall care putty and applying two coats of weather proof exterior emulsion paint in normal pattern/camouflage pattern , over a coat of primer as per manufacturers instructions etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Make :- Nerolac (Exel), Asian 'Apex", Dulux " Weather shield water proof".

M&L for complete removal of old paint from steel surfaces etc over 10 cm width or girth by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil and greasy spots and applying two coats of epoxy paint of any tint and any colour as approved in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc all as specified.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc including removal of debris outside defence land

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4

M&L for preparation of plastered wall surface including pilaster/cornices etc and applying two coats of acrylic emulsion (exterior weather coat) paint in camouflage pattern of any tint as approved over one coat of primer complete all as specified and directed

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry / PCC block masonry, built in cement or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles including removal of debris outside defence land

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry 1:5:8 (20mm graded aggregate) with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6, complete

Demolition of concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including removal of debris outside defence land

M&L for 100 mm thick cement concrete type D- 2, 1:4:8 (40mm graded aggregate) in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings etc

Taking down of Nylon netting for bird proofing of any size, any thickness and any position, repairs of Nylon bird netting where required, and refixing in same position/as per site requirement, including all fixing accessories/material such as clamps, nuts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed

S&F bird proof net of polyolefine all weather proof polymer machine knotting using CNC shines with DSLC technology for antislip netting dia of the net 1mm, mesh size 20-25mm (+/- 2mm) square mesh with mesh making strength 18 kgf of colour black as per specification including fixing with accessories fixing material required for installation to steel structure, trusses/purlin/tie beams, pillar, rafters, such as clamps, nut and bolts including washers etc for fixing bird proofing net to hanger, blast pens etc at the height up to 15 meter including taking down old unserviceable net complete all as specified and as directed

(i) Contractor shall submit five years life guarantee for bird proof net on bond paper, contractor shall also submit security deposit amount i.e 2.5% of quoted amount or Rs 6250.00 whichever is more in the form of FDR or same shall be retain from FB. (ii) This item shall be executed for the building upto 12 meter height from ground level and quoted rates shall be deemed to include for all necessary arrangement for executing of this item up to 15 meter height
