REPAIR OF IN-SERVICE DULIAJAN-NUMALIGARH-PIPELINE
Installation of Spool Piece and Sleeves,Valves, associated fittings and accessories, etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following: "Receiving and taking-over", handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Owner supplied externally corrosion coated, bare line pipes, Sleeves & Valves from designated place(s) of issue to Contractor's own workshop(s)including shifting to the pipeline Right-of-Use (ROU handling, including loading and unloading, arrangement of all additional land required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction (other than Owner provided ROU/ROW); supply of all materials (except Owner supplied materials), consumables, equipment, labour, etc; Staking and installation of construction markers, clearing, grubbing, grading (as required) of ROU on the locations decided by EIC, Trenching to all depths and to a width to expose the the pipeline and/or optical fibre cable/cable conduit as specified in scope document and as per the relevant standards, specifications, etc. by excavation in all types of soils,Carrying out replacement of pipe and coating defects including, cutting and bevelling (as required) of pipes for welding, installation of cold field & Induction bends, NDT of re bevelled area, welding, carrying out destructive/ non-destructive testing of welds as required including radiography and providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables, all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs and other tests, as required; carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by Engineer-In-Charge, carrying out re-radiography and other non-destructive tests as required on repaired joints, etc.; welding of sleeves over existing Pipe on the location as directed by EIC; Repacement and installation of new weld end valves on the location as directed by EIC; Coating of all field weld joints, long radius bends, buried sleeves, valves etc.; providing required padding over and around the pipeline with sand/graded material approved by Engineer-In-Charge, backfilling with available, approved excavated material and/or other suitable soil approved by Engineer-In-Charge; Carrying out all pre and post hydrostatic testing including air cleaning, flushing , filling, drying, pressurization of complete pipeline in various test sections as approved by Engineer- In-Charge to the specified test pressure, providing all equipment, pumps, fittings, instruments, dead weight tester, all types of pigs etc., and services, as required supervision, labour, consumables, water including supply of corrosion inhibitor, air, etc. as required, locating of leaks and rectification of defects attributable to Contractor, retesting after rectification, successful completion of hydrotesting of pipeline (De-watering covered separately in the SOR); All tie-ins, including the tie-in(s) with the pipeline / piping installed by others including cutting of test header , re-bevelling as required; Carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works and all incidental works required to make the pipeline ready for pre-commissioning;, Final clean-up and restoration of right of way/right of use including obtaining NOC from respective statutory authorities as required and disposal of debris and returning all surplus material to designated disposal areas/storage yard, as directed by Engineer-In-Charge; Restoration of land, facilities and boundary wall etc. at associated facilities dismantled/damaged by the Contractor during construction; Obtaining work permits/NOC from various statutory authorities having jurisdiction, before execution of the work, and complying with all stipulation/conditions/recommendation of the said authorities; Updation of as-built drawings, pipe-book and other records. SOR shall be read in conjunction with scope of work, job specific requirements, specifications, standards, drawings and other provision of contract document. Attending all the defect priority wise as instruction of EIC. Note : This item incudes 1. Excavation, removal of coating and Thickness check on the defect areas of the existing DNPL pipeline 2. Supply of nitrogen cylinders with each Crew for localized purging 3. Contractor shall use corrosion inhibitor for hydrotest. 4. Coating of LR bends, Joints, sleeves area. Painting by 100% solid epoxy paint (power Crete R95) of 1000 micron thick where ever heat shrink sleeve cannot be used, including supply of material. 5. Repair of 3LPE coating of the pipeline damaged during excavation cold cutting, bevelling, welding, Localized purging. 6. Supply and installation of field joint as per requirement at site. 7. Removal of Pipe coating and surface preparation & other requirements before installation of sleeves. 8. Fabrication and Installation of Pre hydrotest headers to carry out hydrotest whereevr required 9. This rates are applicable for contractorzto mobilize no's crews for the shut down work 10.Work include radiogarphy and UT both for f the joints

REPAIR OF HOLIDAY IN COATING (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER) (At the time of taking delivery from store)
Supply of all coating repair materials as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Repair of Holiday in Coating (Type of Coating - 3 Layer Polyetlene) . This rate shall be applicable per sq. cm of the exposed steel.

LIASONING AND GETTING PERMISSIONS FROM VARIOUS AUTHORITIES LAND OWNERS/ VILLAGERS
Complete Liaisoning works including but not limited to Liaisoning / co-ordination with Local Villagers / Land Owners / Statutory Authorities / Any other Person/Institution directly or indirectly linked with the pipeline activities for ensuring timely commencement of works and uninterrupted works without idling any equipment throughout pipeline shout down activities during execution. a) Liaisoning and Co-ordinating with all the relevant authorities and land owners falling adjacent to the road side and ensuring hindrance free ROU b) All expenses related to Liasoning of what so ever nature will have to be borne by the contractor. c) Contractor shall depute dedicated Experienced Controlling / Liasoning In charge with dedicated Liasoning team, having thorough knowledge of local language. d) Liaisoning team member shall be present during whole shut down period so that work is not getting hampered due to communication gap with farmers or other involved agencies / persons
BARRICADING (FOR USE IN HIGH MOVEMENT AREA)
Providing & erecting in position a barricading Structure of 1.5 M height & temporary foundation. Using 0.8mm thick corrugated galvanized steel sheets supported on frame of Structural Steel conforming to IS:2062, coated with Red oxide zinc chromate shop primer, including submission of design & drawing to be reviewed by owner, before execution of work at Pipeline route, particularly in residential area and high movement area and as advised by Engineer inchagre and removal of barricading structure after completion of work as per Specification & direction of Engineer in charge (All materials to be in contractors scope) Note: 1.These rates shall be applied only when explicitly permitted by Company. 2. Rates includes moving and reinstallation of the barricades from one work site to another, multiple times.
SCANNING OF UTILITIES IN PIPELINE ROUTE
Locate Under ground services / utilities within the pipeline route. This shall include identification of under ground utilities by scanning with electromagnetic underground services locator / ground penetrating radar followed by hand excavation to expose the utilities with permission from concerned authorities. Laying agency shall prepare a methodology for Scanning and identify the probable areas and obtain prior permission from Engineer-in charge / Client before start of work. Such ground area where utilities are identified by scanning, shall be marked with Red paint. Note: 1.These rates shall be applied only when explicitly permitted by Company.
PIPELINE INSTALLATION AT MAJOR CANALS/ RIVER / NH/ RLY'S BY HDD TECHNIQUE
Receiving and taking over & Installing of owner supplied free issue 3 layer PE coated linepipes of size 16", W.T. 8.74/ 10.3 mm and API 5L Gr. X-65 grade from owner's designated point of issue. For complete works for the major canal/NH/RLY by horizontal drilling method (HDD) including all additional drilled lengths necessitated by Contractor's design of water crossings,carrying out all topographical, hydrological and geo-technical surveys required for design and construction of crossing, preparation of all necessary design & construction drawings and procedures for Owner's approval, mobilisation and de-mobilisation at site(s), supply & Installation of all materials as per "Contractor's scope of supply" including supply & installation of 6" size, 6.4mm API 5L Gr. B/IS:1239 CS conduit pipe for OFC in required lengths, all consumables, equipment, manpower and other resources and acquiring the required land for site preparations, and execution of, but not limited to, the following works in accordance with specifications, drawings, and as per provisions of the Contract document and instructions of the Owner/Engineer-in-Charge. Strings preparation including welding, NDT of welds and re-bevelled areas, radiography, pre-testing of completed string, corrosion coating of field joints with dirax or equivalent, inspection of corrosion coating and repair of defects, Preconstruction surveys, Installation of pipeline and CS conduit/optical fibre cable conduit by horizontal directional drilling to the correct profile as per approved drawings and specification, Strapping of CS conduit with main pipeline, Pulling of optical fibre cable in inter-duct of flexible HDPE tubing in the conduit mentioned above, Post-installation hydrotest including leaks and repair of defects and retesting, etc. for defects attributed to Contractor's faulty work, Supply, fabrication and construction of protective fencing as required, Supply, fabrication and erection of pipeline markers, Restoration and clean-up etc., Preparation of as-built drawings and other records etc., All other works not specifically listed herein, but required as per specifications, drawings, provision of contract document, calculations, and construction method statements, leading to successful completion of works. Note : 1. Rates quoted shall be applicable for multiple crossings at different locations. 2. Contractor shall be paid based on points of entry & exit. 3. The work involved Supply and Installation of 2 nos of 6" CS pipe for OFC (IS 1239/ API 5L GR B) along with carrier pipe in each HDD crossing 4. If required, contractor shall arrange additional land for machine & String preparation.Cost is deemed to include in this item. 5. Approval of all design, calculations, crossing drawings, execution methodology, procedures etc. shall be taken from PMC/Owner before start of execution. 6. There are 4 number of HDD envisaged including one river crossing. 7. It is envisaged to mobilize 2 HDD machines to install pipeline simultaneously to maintain shutdown schedule.
HOOK UP WITH EXISTING PIPE LINE FOR HDD/ OPEN CUT Complete work for hook-up for the installation of line pipe in crossing including Excavation, cold cutting, bevelling, Laying of Fabricated section, alignment, welding, localized purging of nitrogen, radiography & UT of joints and supply of all consumables, manpower, joint coating etc. as per the Scope of Work/ direction of EIC. Note:- (1) Excavation required in the existing trench smooth execution of Hook-Ups included in the Contractor's Scope of Work. (2) All Hook up to be completed within shutdown period. (3) Provision of fire extinguishers, blankets etc. and strict compliance of safety & PPE included under this item. (4) Nitrogen cylinder shall be available in each Hook up points for localised purging as inertisation of localised gas pockets. (5) Repairing of all coating defects of existing pipeline caused due to excavation. (6) Precaution to be taken to prevent entry of external content (e.g. water, moisture, soil etc.) in pipeline. (7) Contractor to depute security guard for 24/7, during the period of exposure of pipeline. (8) At Hook-up point of existing pipe, leaving 300mm (min.) soil cover just above the pipeline to be done by manual excavation, ensuring no dent or damage to the existing pipeline. Remaining soil cover other than this may be removed/ excavated by mechanized excavation. (9) Work include laying of pipe from entry and exit location to hook-up points of from open cut section. CROSSING (BY OPEN CUT) Crossing including installation & transportation of pipe for mainline and CS conduit for OFC from Contractor's storage point to worksite. Installation of casing pipe by open cut for rail, road or canal crossings wherever required in all types of soils and terrain and all other materials, including supply of all other materials, equipments, consumables, manpower, welding including visual inspection of all weld joints, backfilling and restoration as original of the facility crossed and performing all works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and provisions of Contract document.

DISMANTLING AND TRANSPORTATION OF SCRAPE PIPE TO STORE YARD
All dismantled pipe/ spools shall be shall be returned to Owner designated store. Transportation of the same shall be in Contractors scope and is covered under this SOR item only.
SUPPLY OF NITROGEN FOR COMMSSIONING INCLUDING PIGGING WORK
Purging of Pipeline with Nitrogen for commissioning. Supply, transportation and delivery of liquid nitrogen along with atmospheric vaporizer (minimum 2000 m3/hr capacity), arrangement of flexible hoses with temporary header for purging including running of foam pig, all required manpower, machinery etc. to entire DNPL Pipeline. Notes:- 1. Commissioning of pipeline shall not be done by Nitrogen cylinder truck as it will not able to move the pigs. 2. Approx. 4KM volume of N2 shall be considered for Purging 3. Nitrogen Purging for commissioning shall be carried out between upstream and downstream for the entire DNPL pipeline, as directed by Engineer in charge/ Owner.
COMMSSSIONING OF PIPELINE
Carrying out all commissioning checks and making the pipeline sections ready (after completion of hook up) for commissioning, including supply of all adequate nitrogen for pipeline purging equipment, manpower, consumables (including all types pigs and required materials), materials for all temporary works and performing all associated works, complete as per the relevant specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.
RE- INSTALLATION OF PERMANENT MARKERS
Re- Installation of following types of permanent markers (as applicable) along the route including all associated civil works such as excavation in all types of soil, construction of pedestals and grouting with concrete, clearing, supply and application of approved colour and quality of primer and paint, stencil letter cutting for numbers, direction, chainage, etc., restoration of area to original condition and performing all works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge. Note: The painting of all markers shall conform to coastal and marine environment irrespective of whatever shown on respective standards

SUPPLY OF NITROGEN FOR INERTIZATION OF PIPELINE FOR SHUT DOWN (INCLUDING PIGGING WORK)
Purging of Pipeline with Nitrogen for inertization. Supply, transportation and delivery of liquid nitrogen along with atmospheric vaporizer (minimum 2000 m3/hr capacity), arrangement of flexible hoses with temporary header for purging including running of foam pig, all required manpower, machinery etc. Notes:- 1. Approx. 5KM volume of N2 shall be considered for Purging. 2. Wherever cutting of Pipeline involves, the crew shall have at least one Nitrogen cylinder for Localized Purging for removal of gas pockets. The cost shall be included under this item. Bidder to Bid accordingly. 3. Inertization shall not be done by Nitrogen cylinder truck as it will not be able to move pigs. 4. Inertization shall be done for the entire DNPL Pipline. 5. Bidder to mobilized atleast 600 CFM or more copacity Air Compressor (1 or more in Nos) to be used for movement of pig during inertization.
MOBILIZATION OF DGPS EQUIPMENTS Owner shall provide all chainages and coordinates of ILI reports to identify the location for excavation. Bidder to Mobilize of 2 no's DGPS equipment to exactly locate the area before excavation so that excavation in the ROU and coating defects due to excavation remains minimum
REPALCEMENT OF EXISTING 16" VALVE Repalcement of existing welded end 16" 600# valve in station including cuting of Pipe, bevelling, Localized purging with nitrogen cylinder, welding of new valve, radigraphy, repair, if any, painting of the valve and damged Paint due to wekding, returning the replaced valve to Designated owner store
