REPAIR/ MAINT OF LT FEEDER PILLAR BOXES, LT UG CABLES AND CONNECTED WKS OF LT DISTR SYSTEM INCL ATTENDING FUSE OFF CALL AT NAD TECHNICAL AND RESIDENTIAL AREA, ABE PARK AREA UNDER AGE E/M NO-II OF GE (U-I) VISAKHAPATNAM

M&L for Maintenance and attending complaints / breakdowns at NAD TECHNICAL & RESIDENTIAL AREA, ABE PARK AREA comprising of LT panels, over head lines / underground LT cables up to main distribution boards at buildings including day to day maintenance of LT panels / Perimeter lights for smooth & trouble free LT power supply including rectification of minor defects to electrical controls gear / accessories as directed by Engr-In -charge. Note : Unit rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of the following:- (a) Attending minor repairs / breakdowns without involving any new (major) materials. (b) Rate quoted shall deemed to include cost to provide tools for attending break down and minor materials like lugs, PVC tapes, including issue / maintaining Job Cards and Complaint registers etc. (c) Major repairs / Break downs involving S&F of materials such as cables, Joints, MCCBs etc are outside the scope of this item and shall be measured and paid separately. (d) Contractor should ensure to carry out the work through qualified Technician / Electrician and assisted by the helper. Necessary tools & plants and transportation charges are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (e) On completion of the task /attending break down, necessary Job card duly signed by the stake holder shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out all excavated material in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenching with soil and including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand cushioning with clean and dry sand in trenches for protection of UG cable and including punning down complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness of sand coushioning shall only be measured and paid.

Supply & laying sub class 'B', class designation 75 bricks of old size, laid over sand cushioning along alignment of cable as protection to cable in trenches including taking out old bricks complete all as specified and directed. Note : Sand cushioning will be measured and paid seperately.

S&F for GI pipe light grade 50 mm bore galvanised steel tubing, light grade with necessary fittings, laid under road crossing, for cable protection including taking down un-serviceable GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl. Item No. 8.00 here in before but of size 80 mm

M&L for cutting the tarmac / hard standings in road and excavating trenches across the road in size not exceeding 0.45 m wide and 0.6 m depth for laying cable including refilling earth & making good top surface of the disturbed portion with 100mm thick PCC 1:3:6 or bituminous mix as per existing & matching with the surroundings complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Rate quoted shall be deemed to inclusive of Earth work excavation & PCC complete.

Supply & laying LT XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with alumimium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 25 Sqmm x 4 Core, laid in trenches / duct / on pole including taking down existing un-serviceable cable complete all as specified and directed.
