Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation / laying of pipe etc or n exc 10 Sqm on plan area for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc, and getting out in hard / dense soil.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation / laying of pipe etc or n exc 10 Sqm on plan area for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc, and getting out in soft / loose soil.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick using excavated suitable soil all complete all as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level of n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point all complete all as directed.

Taking out unserviceable / defective / damaged / blockage mild steel galvanised iron water tubing 15 mm bore including fitting and removing away all unserviceable pipe from site, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No. 05 here-in-before but of size 20 mm bore tubing.

Supply and lay in trenches ductile iron pipes, socket and Spigot ends, of size DN 150 mm dia bore, ISI marked Centrifugally Cast (Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure pipes conforming to IS:8329/2000 classification K-9 rating with nominal wall thickness 6.0 mm, suitable for push-on-joint (Rubber gasket-D jointing) with cement mortor lining inside the pipes and outside zinc coating with Bituminous finish coat as per IS:8329 / 2000 including provision of EPDM rubber joints conforming IS: 5382 of 1985 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and lay in trenches ductile iron pipes, socket and Spigot ends, of size DN 100 mm dia bore, ISI marked Centrifugally Cast (Spun) Ductile Iron Pressure pipes conforming to IS:8329/2000 classification K-7 rating with nominal wall thickness 6.0mm, suitable for push-on-joint(Rubber gasket-D jointing) with cement mortor lining inside the pipes and outside zinc coating with Bituminous finish coat as per IS:8329/2000 including provision of EPDM rubber joints conforming IS: 5382 of 1985 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note for Item No 5 to 14: Exacavation and earthwork will be measured and paid for separately under respective items of this BOQ

S&F DI fitting for DI spigot and socketed / flanged ends pipes like bends (any type, radius and angle) increasing, decreasing or double socketed / flanged tee pieces single branch 'Y' junction double branch, cross collars caps and plugs, connecting pieces one end flanged and other end socket or spigot and bell mouth pieces one end flanged other end tapering as bell mouth suitable for up to 150mm bore pipe complete all as specified.

Note :- (i) The weight of the fitting for the purpose of payment shall be actual weight of the fitting or as specified in IS code which ever is less. (ii) Quoted rate shall be deem to include cost of Jointing materials such as run lead joint, rubber tyton joint and gasket etc.

Supply & fix 80 mm size Cast iron Air release valve with double orifice type (small & large orifice ) , Kinetic type non clogging & self sealing balls for trouble free operation, totally tamper proof Ideally suited for turbid or clear water conforming to IS:14845 / AWWA pressure rating PN 1.6 and jointing materials like gaskets, flanges , nuts and bolts and washer etc complete with fixing arrangement in water pipes mains all as specified and as directed by Engr-in Charge.

Supply & fix 50 mm size Cast iron Air release valve with double orifice type (small & large orifice ) , Kinetic type non clogging & self sealing balls for trouble free operation, totally tamper proof Ideally suited for turbid or clear water conforming to IS:14845 / AWWA pressure rating PN 1.6 and jointing materials like gaskets, flanges , nuts and bolts and washer etc complete with fixing arrangement in water pipes mains all as specified and as directed by Engr-in Charge.

Supply & fix 80 mm size Cast iron Sluice valve PN 1.6 as per IS-14846 (2000), body, both ends flanged, dome, wedge-CI IS:210, rings-bronze IS:318, Spindal-SS IS:6603, Gland Packing greasy jute packing, fasteners-CS, Gasket- Natural rubber, nominal size as under including removal of old unserviceable sluice valve without damaging to existing pipe line complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note : (i) Suitable size DI flange socket / DI flange spigot shall be measued seperately under respective item. (ii) Quoted rate shall be deem to include cost of Necessary jointing materials such as gasket, nuts, bolts and washers etc

All as per item No 18 above but sluice valve of size 100 mm.

Material and labour for construction of valve chamber of size 1200 x 1200 x 1000 mm deep dimensions (Over all internal dimension) for sluice valve etc. with PCC foundation, PCC block masonry walls, Plastering, PCC Coping, white washing, mild steel chamber cover, painting to chamber cover including demolition of old valve chamber complete all as specified below:-

(i) Cement concrete for foundation (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick extended up to 150 mm beyond the outer face of block masonry.

(ii) Walls of valve chamber 200 mm thick with precast cement concrete (1:5:8) (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) solid building blocks , setting in CM 1:6 complete.

(iii) Internal and exposed surfaces of valve chamber both concrete and block masonry surface shall be plastered with CM (1:4), 15 mm thick finished even and smooth.

(iv) 50 mm thick coping in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 over block masonry wall.

(v) Entire plastered surfaces shall be treated with 3 coat of white wash.

(vi) Chamber cover shall be of 3 mm thick MS sheet with 30 x 30 x 5 mm size angle iron frame with hold fast and locking arrangement. steel surface shall be painted with two coats of synthetic paint of first quality over one coat of red oxide primer.

S&F 15 mm bore mild steel galvanised iron tubing medium grade, ISI Marked conforming to IS 1239 Part-I 2004, with and including all fittings such as bends, elbows,tees, short length, socket, union, check nuts, nipples etc. fixed and laid in trenches / floor / under culvert / road crossing etc including testing complete all as specified and as directed.
