Excavation in earth work in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for rural road and clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal & dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner,trimming, filling of unevenness ,blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of the stones whether useful or not, for 4057.46 Cubic Metre (FOUR THOUSAND FIFTY SEVEN POINT FOUR SIX) Cubic meter) in all cases @ Rupees 170- only (Rupees One hundred seventy only) per Cubic Metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis.Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor,which shall have to duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excatation in soil in hilly area in all depths using manual means as per drawing and technical specification ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousands four) clause 305.1 (three hundred five point one) including setting out, coustruction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe dispoal of unsuitable cut materials by all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts at specified places in specified manner, systematically with level consideration to avoiding adverse effects on environment, trimming filling of unevenness blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:6:12 (One cement is to six sand is to twelve graded hard crushed stone aggregate nominal mix) mechanically mixed and viberated in foudation or similar works complete works complete as per drawings and technical specification of ministery of rural Development for rural road August 2004(Two thousand four) clause 802-803, 1202 and 1203 (eight hundred two, Eight hundred three , One thousand two hundred two and one thousnad two hundred three) and curing complete including cost of form work and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete 1:5:10 (One cement is to five Sand is to ten graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty milimeter) nominal size) in R/Wall, B/Wall, wing wall/ parapets complete as per drawing and technical specifications.clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 as per drawings and technical specification of ministery of rural Development for rural road mechanical mix and vibrated and curing complete including cost of form work and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 900mm dia ( Nine hundred milimetre) dia for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 ( One cement is to two sand) but excluding excavation protection works backfilling concrete and masonry woks in head walls and parapets as per clause 1108 ( One thousand one hundred eight) . Including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying flooring in rubble stone bedding laid in cement mortar 1:3 (One cement is to three sand) complete as per drawing & technical specification clause 1303 and curing complete including cost of form work and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Suppling , fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in superstructure completeas per drawing and technical specification clause 1002 ,1010 and1202and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm (Four milimeter) dia GI wire confirming to IS:280 and IS 4826 in 100mm X 100mm (One hundred milimeter into One hundred milimeter) mesh (Woven diagonally including 10% (Ten percent) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25kg (Twenty five kilogram) each as per drawing & technical specification clause 1301 and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Providing back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8. including cost of form work and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry plain cement concrete, wing wall, return wall with 100mm ( One hundred milimetre) dia A.C. ( Air Compressor) pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of one in vertical and twenty horizontal towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification of Ministry of rural Development for rural road clause 614,709,1204.3.7 and curing complete including the cost of form work and haulding carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber ( earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for seperately depending upon the classification of soil) complete as per HPPWD specification and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Consolidating of sub-grade with road roller including making good the undulationetc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HPPWD specificastion and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the required gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HPPWD Specifications 100mm (One hundred milimeter) spread thickness (Finished work including labour and materials and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross sectional are 0.40 square metre (Zero point forty) in soil & oridinary rock to specified lines grade slevels and diamensions excavated materials to be used in embankment with a lift upto a metre and lead of 50m ( Average lead25m) as per technical specification clause 307By Mannual means and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge
