Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated Soil materials to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for hardcore of guage not exc. 63mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface of broken stone or boulders, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC type C-2, 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) as in flooring, plinth protection/footpath finishing cement concrete surface even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 100 mm thick (spread thickness) soling with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled & consolidated to required gradient & camber with 8-12 tonne power roller, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller exc 8 Tonne and n exc 12 tonne, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-chage.

M&L for 150 mm thick water bound macadam in two equal layers of 75 mm each (compacted thickness) with coarse aggregate of stone (Lime stone, sand stone, Flint or Quartzite) of grading - 2 ( 63 mm to 40 mm size ) or of grading - 3 ( 50 to 20 mm size ) and consolidated to required gradient & camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for applying evenly a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (SS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70 - 1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen Vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix of any pernetration compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : (i) No extra allowances shall be admissible to the contractor if the bitumen content is required more than 4% by the weight of total mix as per approved design. The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20 - 0.30 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in table 500-5 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical spraye after cleaning of existing surface by air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness (minimum) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen Gde-VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified in the relevant clauses of SSR Part-I (2009), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge Note : (a) Rate deemed to be included for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi sense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) Semi dense ashphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, contractor shall quoted his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 50.00 per kilogram of binder but vartiation in binder plus side shall not be paid extra contrator shall quote accordingly.

M&L for 2.5 mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters , zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5 kg/Sqm and applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painted surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note. The painting shall be carried out through mechanical appliances by the company's approved applicatior).

S&F of Bi-directional Abrasion resistant Raised pavement markers made out of micro prismatic tough polycarbonate lens of approved colour, Engineered thermoplastic body and fixed on the road with Epoxy including making good the disturbed portion of the road, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
