E/W in excavation of Trench by manual means in trenches for foundations, drains, pipes, cables, etc. (not exceeding 1.5m in width) and for shafts, wells, cesspits and the like not exceeding 10 sqm on plan, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift upto 1.5m, including getting out excavated earth and disposal of surplus excavated earth as directed. (The Trench shall be of size 1.5 feet in length, 1.5 feet in depth and 3 feet in width at multiple spots. The excavation of earth is required at all the sites where portion of worn out pipe is to be replaced and also where welding of the leaking spots is required as the pipes are laying on the ground and the welder needs proper space beneath in order to have the proper access for carrying out the welding

Welding of existing departmental pipe as a vertical support for the existing delivery pipe line at various points. The Job includes profile cutting at one end and cutting to the required length as per site condition for proper grouting. The Job includes all tools, tackles, skilled technician required for completion of the Job.

Providing and laying in position of concrete for grouting of departmentally provided GI pipes which will be used as vertical support for the existing delivery pipe line including the cost of shuttering. The concrete blocks laid should be of 1:2:4 mix. The size of the concrete blocks shall be 1.5 feet x 1.5 feet x 3 feet

Providing and fitting of MS Gusset plates of size 200x200mm (10 no) at top and bottom side of the GI pipes which will be used as vertical support to the delivery pipe line.

Repairs to 350mm dia rising main at various leaking spots (06 no.) by way of welding using electric arc welding. The Job includes mobilisation and transportation all tools, tackles, skilled technician required for completion of the Job.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in Trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating layer by ramming and watering, lead as per site and lift upto 1.5m. The refilling is to be done below the pipe after carrying out the welding of the leaking spots.

Modification to 350mm dia delivery pipeline by way of Fabrication, providing and fitting of washout for pipe line. The washout shall be placed at lowest contour of pipe line and shall be fabricated out of 6 inch dia GI pipe. The GI pipe line shall be 01 mtr in length and shall have blind flange at the end which shall be properly bolted with the GI pipe so that the water in the delivery pipe line shall be drained out as and when required and could be closed after the water is completely drained. Job also includes all tools, tackles, welding machine, gas cutting equipment, skilled welder required for completion of the Job.

Removing of old 150mm dia GI pipe line approximately 300metres (actual length is not available in official records thus we have made assumption on higher side keeping in view part of the pipe line is under road/ concrete blocks on bund which cannot be retrieved. The Job involves hiring of JCB/ Hydra for retrieving of pipes, shifting and stacking at Sub divisional store. The Job also involves all tools, tackles, skilled labourer to carry out the Job e.g. spanners, cutter/grinding wheel, pipe wrench, chain wrench, portable DG set etc.
