REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS AND REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURNITURE TO PERIMETER AND INSIDE DEPOT AREA AT ARMY AREA BANAR UNDER GE BANAR

M&L for preparation of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cakedmud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dust/dirt complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for repair to pot holes, any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dirt and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces of black top, cutting around edges at least 25mm in depth & making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and inspected/approved before laying the premix carpet complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n. exc 400 sqm & n exc 50mm deep complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for applying evenly a prime coat of catonic bitumen emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70-1kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam with 4% binder content using paving bitumen (VG-40 Gde) by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using vibromax power roller of capacity 8 to 12 Tonne complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of catonic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20-0.30 kg/sqm on surface of bituminous surface as specified in table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for bituminous premix semi- dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen VG-40 grade by weight of total mix rolled and compacted with vibromax power roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.0mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc, and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

S&F in replacement of road STUD (CAT eyes) of size 100x100x20mm made of polycarbonate with electronically welded prismatic retro- reflective lens panel of approved colour on both side for maximum retro reflection in wet and dey condition non breakable dust proof type fixed with epoxy chemical nails screws and clamps complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

S&F in replacement of dark eye solar studs RED,Amber or white of size 100 x 100 x 21mm, height without stump - 21mm, height with stump 55mm, stump dia 33mm, LEDs electronically operated with 4 Nos solar cell, Battery - 1600MA/1.2 volts Ni-Mh mono-crystalline 2.4v/0.3 watt, aluminium reflective frame- ploycarbonate weight of stud 360 gms , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.
