OD52562/2026-2027:Hiring of Vehicle (Dry Lease Basis) Hiring of one vehicle having an engine capacity of 1200 cc or above, not more than 5 years old as on the date of submission of the tender, on a dry lease basis. The contract shall include the cost of maintenance, servicing, repairs, replacement of consumables, and all associated upkeep of the vehicle. Fuel and driver charges shall not be included and shall be arranged separately by the department. The vehicle shall meet the following requirements: 1. The vehicle shall have a valid Taxi Permit, Registration Certificate (RC), Comprehensive Insurance, Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate, Fitness Certificate (where applicable), and all other statutory documents required under the Motor Vehicles Act and applicable rules. 2. The vehicle shall be owned by the tenderer. Documentary proof of ownership and copies of all valid vehicle documents shall be submitted along with the tender. 3. The vehicle shall have a seating capacity of not more than seven (7) persons, including the driver. 4. The vehicle shall be maintained in good mechanical condition, clean, roadworthy, and available for use throughout the contract period. 5. The successful tenderer shall ensure timely maintenance and repairs so that the vehicle remains available for uninterrupted service. In the event of a breakdown, a suitable replacement vehicle of similar or higher specifications shall be provided without any additional cost to the department. 6. The vehicle shall comply with all statutory requirements and applicable laws throughout the contract period.
