The operator should take care of power factor in TOD meter and report immediately to the JE / AGE in case of disturbed power factor. In case of negligence, any penalty impossed by the KSEB for the low power factor will be recovered from the Contractor.

The Electric Panels, Pump sets etc. are to be operated by one operator per shift and the operator shall remain in generator room while running DG set.

The operator should be qualified with minimum 2 years course training obtained from ITI / NCVT in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics trade and must have 2 years experience in similar field for operating Electric Panels, Pump sets, DG Set & Sewage Pump. The operator should be above 19 Years and below 50 Years of age.

The operators should ensure the serviceability of the Plants, Machineries or Equipments and should be remain alert for every odd situation. The contractor should ensure full safety and functionability of the assets being maintained by him. Any casualty or injury sustained by the operators during the working hours at the premises of installations shall be sole liability of the contractor. No claim on this account shall be entertained by the Department.

All Tools & Plants or Transport, Cleaning Materials, Consumables etc. required for carrying out daily maintenance and necessary stationary & documents (log books, test records etc.) for maintaining the recods at installation will be arranged by the contractor and nothing extra will be admissible on this account.

The quoted rates are deemed to be included for provision of communication facility by operators with JE / AGE / GE or with KSPCB, KSEB, KWA for tie up during utility service breakdowns.

The contractor should ensure all provions as laid down by State / Central Govt. labour commissions, Employees Provident Fund, ESI and in Contract Labour Act 1970 such as payments of minimum fair wages, working conditions etc. are complied.

The work will be of continous nature without Sundays, Holidays or Strikes and the contractor must employ reliever tradesman as relief for employees weekly off / authorised holidays and the rate quoted above shall be deemed to be included in this aspect

The rate quoted by contractor shall deem to be included for cleaning of the premises of installation including monthly periodical cutting of grass, Vegetation and keeping the installation neat and tidy in all the manners.

The rate quoted by contractor shall deem to be included of Greasing the pumps and other moving parts every week.

During the duty hours period, the OH tanks and GL sump shall be adequately filled for the requirement of one full day.

In case of short supply of water from KWA the operator has to liaise with the outside agency which supply water through Bouzer to collect water to the GL sumps at technical area and record the same as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

The rate quoted by contractor shall deem to be included for the sludge / silt obtained from periodical cleaning and transporting and disposed off at approved site of local bodies / local Govt authorities duly obtaining proper approval from them.

Contractor will be liable for a penalty of Rs. 5000/- per day for non attendance of complaints regarding substation/installation.

Manual mixing of chlorine agents as per the dosage specified for the chlorination of water dosages from 0.50 to 1.0 ppm at users end and daily testing of water for correct chlorine content etc.
